Today is the first day of March 2006, as usual, I have released updates for 7 of my plugins and created another 3 plugins.
If you are frustrated with my messy installation instructions for my plugins, this update is for you. Now for wp-dbmanager, wp-polls, wp-email you just need to upload the whole folder to the plugins folder, upload the main file to the root WordPress folder and activate and it is done. You no longer need to upload different files to different directories and no longer need to run install/upgrade files.
wp-dbmanager now can empty/drop tables and email backup database to a specified email. Also included is a htaccess file to prevent users from smart guessing your database file name and download it straight off from your site.
Now you can also view wp-stats and wp-useronline in your admin panel. I have also revamped how wp-stats display stats.
wp-postratings, wp-postviews and wp-relativedateare 3 new plugins. For wp-postratings if you are using the beta version, please drop your wp_ratingslog table because the final version has a new table name and structure.
Please check out the changelog for more information.

If i may to suggest for you, can you make all that plugin in one admin interface,
for example, wp-stat and wp useronline in one package.
or….
make all that plugin in one package with using admin interface, admin will get one new option in their wp to manage the plugins from GameRz.
sorry for my poor english.
I love all your plugin , i’m using all of them. so if you can understand what i suggested above its will be easier for sure ,to manage all your plugin on one admin option
Hey Lester, i’ve justed added the ‘Online Users’ and ‘Polls’ plugins to my blog. Thanks alot!
LOL thanks as in all one unified interface? but some people only using 1 of my plugin. Need to accommodate for the majority
I *adore* this post ratings plugin! It’s so much fun!! I customized my stars, and now, my readers will be able to rate my entries. I’ve been looking for a plugin like this since last year. Great job.
No not unified, they;re seperate but their nice plugins.
Donny: I see,
April: Thanks for the compliments =)
ur efforts are paid off~ \(^_^)/ when are u teaching ur dumb gf wordpress? heez~
can’t wait to merge our blogs together… probably, this site can be bigger? kekekeke~ work hard on this after my icons~
Anytime =D
lol yap yap bigger section, but need to re-think of layout =(
yar.. i noe ur concern. we need to work out the hierarchy of the site first. your stuff + my stuff == lots of stuff. think it will be easier to move from there. \(^_^)/
LOL, agreed.
I like the statement your stuff+my stuff = a lot of stuff. ROFL
Using wp less than a week and have already implemented your pagenavi, except I put it in the index rather than the footer and blew away the default ‘previous’ and ‘next’.
Will start on the polls & print soon.
Thank you for your work and for the clear documentation!
Thank for the compliments =)
hi… here i’m again..
i dont know why, i have two wp installed. one on windows server, and other on *nix , so on *nix (my url in my nama link here) the poll is is not recognize the ccs, it appear big font. how to fix it ?
yue: go to wp admin -> Polls -> Polls Options. U can add in your html from there.
Hi – just putting some of your plug ins to work and they are great. I am experiencing one strangeness – votes on Rate a Post are being doubled it seems.
Any idea what might be happening?
no idea man, need to take a look, is there a site?
Simple quick question. I’m using wp-useronline on a blog. All I want to do is make it show a list of names somewhere on the main page or side bar, like: “Bob, Joey, Mary, Alf” for all the users to see.
Is there a small bit of code I can just paste somewhere in my template, or does this require a major hack?
Thanks.
Dabizi
u can try users_browsing_page() function. is that what u want?
yeah, thanks. Will that make a list of just names if there is more than one user? Do I need to specify somewhere to separate the names by a comma?
And can you show me what code exactly to copy/paste to my template? Do i need any kind of tags or anything around users_browsing_page() , or do I just stick users_browsing_page() wherever I want the list generated?
Thanks!
will show the users on that particular page. If you want that comma separated names, I will code it and release as an update. It is a good feature to add it in =D
