So far I am very satisfied with Dreamhost customer support. Filed in 3 support tickets within the week and fastest reply I got back was like within 15 minutes, slowest was within 24 hours (to me it is fast).
Site was down this evening, it took them 45 minutes to detect it and get it back up which to me is also considered fast.
They support custom DNS which I use it on WordPress Singapore to allow user to have the name http://YOUR_NAME.wordpress.sg.
I am getting the hang of the ability to host multiple websites =D
Thumbs up for Dreamhost.
Yeah, I have had multiple web sites for a while. http://fileville.net and http://mostlynothing.info. ![]()
My site was only down once, for an hour.
Just wondering, could you maybe send me a message (forums) explaining how to get the WP-MU sub domains set up? Thanks…
I’ve been running Blue Herald for nearly a year now and the only down time I’m aware of was for about twenty-minutes. ![]()
Yesterday, I got an error message which said something about “max queries” had been reached, and the site wouldn’t fully load. I sent them a report and they had it fixed within fifteen minutes. I don’t understand how this could happen though. I have very few visitors to my site.
Web host is StartLogic, which I pay about $70 per year.
GaMerZ, nice site you have here.

lol thanks for the compliments
Hello Lester,
How is the bandwidth with Dreamhost? I always afraid an ISP with those unlimited domains and bandwidth with one account. Which they oversell their bandwidth which bring all the sites to a crawl speed. I wonder is the case with Dreamhost.
Thanks
Rocky
yea, dreamhost just wrote an email to me saying my site has too much traffic =( sigh. maybe due to the release of WordPress 2.1
