I prefer them to based on Speed. AMD is downhill since Intel launches Core technology. I think get the Q9550 but if you can wait, get Q9650 as it is only 3 months later. I don't think QX is worth the money as it is just unlocked multiplier, OC will shorten the lifespan of your processor too same as oning for 24/7 yea Q9650 is 3GHz, Q9550 is 2.8GHz. Canon is good as the ink is cheap. For multi function printer, canon ones are really good, their original inks are not only the cheapest in the mrkt but personally seen their prints better than HP or epson. On a sidenote...
