Apologies for late response, but anyways my $0.02: Chrome might suit any user coming from Internet Explorer, but to conquer experienced users, it needs extensions (in my case, at least, WebDeveloper, FireBug, and AdBlock).

uh-oh, the google clones are coming, after taking over your browser, then it will take over all your office applications in no time..

Chrome currently now = more headache for compatibility for web developers.

I still love my FF3.

it was faster than any other, it need more like menus , and tool bars, might Google will put develop them to grow fast…

@David Google just change the EULA for Chrome after the much complained on it. The only thing that can make switch if it is faster than firefox and have as much extension as FF

@Lester Chan The problems should be clear. If you’re uploading material for your website that you’d like to use commercially, like logos, you don’t want to give Google a right to do whatever it will with that content.

This can’t be real. They won’t get anywhere with this browser if this is really the intent.

What is special about Chrome that should make me want to switch?

Yeap, I think Java is not support yet, but I am sure they are working on this. The EULA of Chrome is a joke hahaha.

..the EULA grants Google:

‘a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free and non-exclusive licence to reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute any Content that you submit, post or display on or through’

I heard that Chrome does not support Java Applets, so cannot go to Internet Banking websites.

I had my Chrome crashed in the first install on my second PC (works on my Laptop).

I cannot compete with Firefox 3, but good to have competition in this area too, so the features will get better.

To add on, Chrome is really blazing fast and it loads a new tab in a new process so that 1 tab crash, it does not crash the whole browser unlike Firefox and IE.

Chrome just lacks themes and plugins to make it even better,

I think you need to optimized it for Webkit =D

It still has a long way to go before it can compete with Firefox in other areas.

chrome is fast.. but it doesnt suit me.. I can’t see all my words inside my blog.. sobz.
