There are 2 connections, VGA and USB, for USB you need to install the drivers and it will work. For VGA, it is just plug and play.

So am I to understand that this model will work off the Macbook with ONLY the USB cable? I was looking at the little 7″ mimo monitors to set up in a meeting room. With the right processor, you can have 5 or 6 connected. But if I can get the 19 or 22″ sammy with only the USB cable for presentations, this would be great.

Really? I plugged in nothing happens lol. After I install the driver, it works as expected.

Is there something I missed? I plugged the lapfit in to my macbook and it works leh. No need to install any driver. Or is there some features that need the driver to work?

The USB connection functionality is provided by DisplayLink, and they've had Windows 7 preview drivers available since January. You can download them at http://displaylink.com/win7.
