HOLY, that is fast! Firefox 7.0 has been released! Looking back Firefox 6.0 was only released last month on the 17th August 2011!

What’s New In Firefox 7.0?

• Drastically improved memory use
• Added a new rendering backend to speed up Canvas operations on Windows systems
• Bookmark and password changes now sync almost instantly when using Firefox Sync
• Added support for text-overflow: ellipsis
• Added support for the Web Timing specification
• Added an opt-in system for users to send performance data back to Mozilla to improve future versions of Firefox. This can be enabled by installing an add-on
• Fixed several stability issues

Firefox will have one more release before 2011 ends, Firefox 8 is scheduled to be released on 8th November 2011.
