SanDisk ReadyCache SSD
SanDisk ReadyCache SSD was announced backed in September 2012 and is currently retaining for S$78.
The ReadyCache SSD is a affordable 32GB 2.5″ Solid State Drive (SSD) which compliments your existing 7,200rpm normal hard drive.
You install it like how you intall a normal hard drive to your desktop computer. Since it is a 2.5″ SSD, it comes with a 3.5″ bracket so that you can mount it inside your desktop computer’s casing.
Once installed, you need to install the ExpressCache software which is included and it will automatically manages data by caching frequently used files to the SSD and that will improve overall system performance.
Just some technical knowledge, despite being a SSD, the 32GB partition will not be visible to the operating system as in you can’t copy files to it like what you would normally do to a harddrive or a USB flash drive.
