Moshi Codex Air and Moshi Codex Retina are both new products from Moshi .

Moshi’s Codex is a lightweight carrying case for your MacBook Air 11″/13″ or MacBook Pro Retina 13″/15″. Codex protects your MacBook at all times and insulates it from the wear and tear of daily use. Combining style and functionality, Codex provides full access to all interface ports while cradling your computer in a designer protective shell. The exterior of Codex is treated with a water-resistant coating to shield it from the harsh effects of the environment. The interior of Codex is filled with a soft Viscotex memory foam to cushion your MacBook from shocks and bumps while on the go.

For the Codex Air 11 and Codex Retina 15, it is available in Steel Black only while the Codex Air 13 and Codex Retina 13 is available in both Brushed Titanium and Steel Black.

The Codex Air features a tapered design and comes without a carrying handle while the Codex Retina doesn’t have a tapered design but comes with a carrying handle. I wish they have a carrying handle for the Codex Air as well, because it really makes carrying easier.

The one I gotten is the Codex Air 13 Titanium for MacBook Air 13″. I like the color combination for the Codex Air 13 Titanium. Just from the look, you can tell it is a premium product. Even the sewing is done very nicely.

The only complaint I have for the Codex Air 13 is that it is too big for my MacBook Air 13″, I wish it fits better. Perhaps Moshi makes this design decision to accommodate MacBook Air that has shell cases on.
