Being a gadget enthusiast, I don’t have a car windscreen mount for my phone. When driving, I always place my phone on the cover of my car’s cup holder. So when I need to check Google Maps when driving, I have to glance down for a few milliseconds and look back up again which is kinda challenging.

So I decided to get a windscreen mount for my phone. I saw the Just Mobile Xtand Go at Bangkok Central Embassy‘s iStudio and it looks pretty ok so I bought it for TH฿1090 (S$42).

There are 2 ways to mount the Xtand Go, the first is on your windscreen and the second is at the top of your dashboard using the “Go Buttons”. For most people, the first option is the easiest. For the second option, it really depends on the design of your car dashboard. For my car, Volkswagon Jetta 1.4 TSI (2010), it doesn’t work quite well due to the curvature of the dashboard.
