Celebrated Chans birthday at Kushin-Bo, Suntec. This time round we did not ate too full. There is this voice over at the restaurants PA system, sounds like Jackey. Did you attempt to work part-time there? Hahaha~ Hope the custom design tee shirt is to your liking.

Bought several items during the weekends. 2 of which are Simon Webbe and Shunzi album. Need to listen to a few more times before I can conclude they are nice. Crazily over The Bodyshops products: the orange shower gel, light pink blusher, 2 retractable blusher brushes (1 to put in Chans house). My Bodyshop membership is going to end this month, in a few days time. *Hint hint* Finished my rebounding shampoo and conditioner which cost me $66 altogether. I almost used up 1 set per month. That is too crazy. Found my St Ives Apricot Body Scrub at Orchard OG. But I just cant find the same content, in facial scrub. Did they terminate the product? Dunno can use the body scrub on my face. Hahahaha~ With all these junks I brought home, my youngest sister commented œYou only have 1 body to wash, why do you buy so many?? Good point though, I will remember. Tonight, I shall go IMM, Daiso, for some shelves shopping. There are a lot of cheap and good stuff there.

My youngest sister went to collect her bursary award on Saturday night. This is the first time that I know of: all the cheques for the students are not signed. The person who should have authorized them has gone on leave. So she attended the ceremony for nothing, except 2 complimentary tidbits bags for me. The cheques will be mailed to them later.

Oh yes¦ Has anybody watch news on Friday night? Hong Kah Secondary School is one of the schools under the MOEs project to upgrade their facilities. They shoot our school leh. Haha~ Then I discover now the girls collar for upper secondary is different from what we have, they had also included the HKSS badge sewed onto the uniform. Ugly~ And Mr Yeo (D&T Yeo) speaks in front of the camera. Still the same old him. June, when are you going to visit Mr Yeo? Heez~

Due to the proposal tender that is due this mid-noon, I stayed thru the night in the office to format the reports. Not out of willingness. It really makes me mad when she asked ‘I believe you do not have anything for tonight?’. And formatting a proposal is the most tedious and time consuming thing to do.

Anyway, stay at Lester’s house last night so that I can save my traveling time to office today. Had this very painful stomache the moment I board the bus, the urge to answer to nature call. The cold air from the air-condition makes me feel more like rushing to the toilet. A lot of thoughts run thru my mind at then. Where should I alight for toilet? Alight at office? I’m afraid I’m the earliest and I do not have any keys to the office, so no toilet~ Maybe China Square foodcourt has a toilet. But what if it doesn’t?

Only when the bus pass turns into Fuiji Xerox building, then I remember I can choose either M Hotel or International Plaza. Really cannot tahan liao. Probably ate the wrong food last nite. The bus skipped the M Hotel stop and hauled at IP instead. Thank god~ I can’t imagine the consequence.

Today bowel is damn efficient. Probably will learn this lesson and put put the first thing in the morning. (x_x)

Faculty Test
Took my faculty test on Saturday in NTU. Saw a couple of familiar faces like Karen, Han Jie, Zhi Fan, Seetoh and Lincoln. The test took about 1 hour 30 minutes with a total of 5 questions. The lecture room is easy to find as Pei Jun has showed me the other time. But the atmosphere was quite tense or probably i am not use to the examination atmosphere anymore. The table is very low, i practically had my neck strain after the whole test. Therefore, i only maintain my eye level. Any movement just ache my neck. Can’t post the questions in the blog (that was reminded by the invigilator), and papers are in random sets anyway. So you may get different questions.

Meet Lester at Tiong Bahru Plaza for lunch, Thai Express again. He is kinda hooked with this restaurant. Heez~ After which, we roam about at Great World City to wait for our movie time for Underworld Evolution. I can’t remember much, but i remember we slept from 8pm to next morning 7am, totally shag and tired.

Botanic Garden
Had our breakfast at West Coast MacDonald. Seems like we are always rushing for time. But i wish to take a real slow breakfast with him. Slag around and read newspapers. Hmm~ Waiting for such a day. Pick the girls up to Botanic Garden for photo shooting. Shaun is there as well. Due to the renovation, i guess some of the gardens are no longer there. Pretty different from what i remember when i was young. A lot of the owner brought their doggies along to the park. Next time, my ah pi shall visit this wonderful place with me.

I took very little photographs. But it is a very good experience, learning the photography skills from them. I remember the most hilarious moment, when i walk into the bush to take a nice flower portrait. The moment i squat down i saw a worm wiggling at me. Holy goodness gracious, i jumped and screamed. Indeed a wrong demonstration. Hahaha~

Bong attempts to do some drawings at the swan pond. She says somebody took her picture. Lol~ We ended our day in Botanic Garden by climbing a big tree. I have no experience in doing so. Have to give up half way through becoz I dun feel myself secured by any harness. (^_^) You noe, that feeling.

Lunch at Taka€„¢s Crystal Jade before we ended the whole gathering. We will organise something like so in alternate weeks. Those who are interested can join us. Heez~

Belated Valentine’s Day wishes to all. Heez~

I have been too tired to write the card the nite before, so i practically drafted everything in the office. And sorry my dear, by accident i found out that you are sending me flowers to the office. Erm… No more surprises liao. Instead, my neck stretches till very very long becoz my flowers haven€„¢t arrive till like 4.30pm. Still gana suan by my boss “The florist must be very busy”. Duh~ (-.-’”)

To avoid the human crowd after work, i left my workplace on the dot for dinner. Dinner at Outback Restaurant, Millennia Walk. The food has never disappointed us. The soup is superb, the side and main dish are awesome. But just because of that special day, I feel that the restaurant is over-crowded with couples. We are one of them who they earn the money from. It become so not romantic, no privacy.

After dinner, we exchanged presents at the Sky Garden at Suntec. Other than the card and flowers, I have got something special €œ a customise ez-link card with our photo. Lester also bought a card holder to put the ez-link card and 2 $10 notes. Becoz I often left my handphone and wallet with him and forget to collect at the end of the day. So he has specially prepared these for my emergency use. Practical and thoughtful~ I have another heart-shaped pastry from Lester€„¢s mum. Yum yum~

New Executive Secretary
Geraldine is the new secretary for Richard. Finally~ He won’t yell at me or Fanny liao. But this gal is far too friendly and extrovert, makes me feel rather uneasy. It just make me think: are you really that friendly and sincere?

Have been rushing for my NTU admission portfolio the last few days. Too much to “put up a good show”. I was rushing to Paradiz Centre to get my portfolio wire-binded on Thursday. Go to the ATM to withdraw cash, took the card but forget the money. Only when i reached Paradiz Center by cab, i discover my cash are gone. I still own the taxi driver money. Stewpig~ Next time don’t talk on the phone when you are withdrawing money. Arghh…

Thanks to Pei Jun, Lester’s secondary school classmate, we manage to navigate through the buildings to the admission office. And i would say, you can’t reach the blocks by the buses in the school. You still have to walk. And it is complicated. Hahahaha~

Had my company’s Chinese New Year dinner at Fort Canning Hill, The Legends. The food was so so, but the games are fun. We really fight all our way to win the games. But the prize is cheap-skate. (-.-’”)

Chinese New Year
Pay the usual visit to the relatives’ house during the Chinese New Year. Except that 3 of us (siblings) gathered to Mr Yuan’s house. Hee~ It’s been long time I have seen him after his retirement. Anyway, great visits and had a lot to catch up.

University
I have enrolled for NUS and NTU this year. Will need to prepare my portfolio and a short video of about myself and send them in by this Friday for the design course i am opting in NTU. Still thinking of other schools like NAFA. But will be going to their open house 9 to 11 February 2006.

World Skills Competition
Remembered i participated in the World Skills Competition 2004. But never seen my certificate of participation. Somehow when you grow older, your memory is deteriorating, badly for me. Both Serene and I forgot whether the certificate is sent to us or we have to collect at ITE Dover. Search through the WWW and found the Sponsorship Manager for the WSC 2006. Kiasu me, wrote an email and left a voice message, for him to direct me to somebody whom i should be speaking to. Very effective of them, I have received calls from the ITE, to collect the certificates after office hours. Damn touch~ Later go buy card to express my appreciation. Kekeke~

Portable Hard Drive
Decided to buy a portable hard drive because i have a massive collection of my artwork since work. Good time to keep portfolio. Actually, it is not right to make a duplicate of the work here, as you know, the owner is still the company who employs you. Since I have not submit any resignation letter, i decided to take my time to copy.

Laily Birthday
Ms Bong, Happy 23rd Birthday to you. I wonder have i provide the correct address to SingPost. Anyway, there is no indication that the sender is me, so just let you know what’s inside. It is a sheet of customized stamps. Got photos of me, you, serene and qin taken during the poly times. SingPost stamp (on the left) and the photo (on the right) makes a valid stamp, so you can post them out together with your mails. But i bet you wont. Hahaha~ See if it reaches this week, then you can show us during this Saturday?

Image Zoo
Got a freelance deal, to draw icons for this stock image company. Getting rather restless at work and decided to give it a try with the freelancing. Dateline is near, still struggling. Hahaha~

They have been to Chinatown, Little India, Funan IT Mall, Habour Front and Suntec City. The most memorable one is the Little India trip. That was like my second time to Little India, after bringing Adam 2 years ago. There is this new arcade that sells quite a number of jewellery. Bought some bangles there but the girls are shopping like crazy.

Thanks to them, i wouldn’t step into Little India in the usual days and to touch the water at the Suntec City’s fountain. Singapore ain’t that boring i guess. Heez~ But too short a stay in Singapore, we would have brought them to try Nasi Lemak, Fried Kway Teow, have some local breakfast, lunch and dinner. And you will be surprise, they don’t like Far East Plaza.
