SingTel Prestige

SingTel rewards program used to be called Red Rewards and Red Prestige before they decided to drop the “Red” word last year to just SingTel Rewards and SingTel Prestige.

I was a SingTel Red Prestige member till 31st March 2012 because my monthly SingTel bill averages above S$250 for 6 consecutive months (I have 4 lines under my name). But after March 2012, my bill was less than S$250 per month and I no longer qualify for the SingTel Red Prestige.

iFly Singapore

Thanks to iFly Singapore for the invite to the Christmas party last week and for the complimentary session of indoor skydiving! It was my first time trying indoor skydiving and I love it!

For the beginner lesson “The Adventure”, the whole session is about 2 hours. After signing the indemnity form at the counter, you will be ushered to the “hangar” to watch some videos on what iFly Singapore is about, what to expect for the whole session and basic indoor skydiving tips (eg: hand signals, postures).

Service In Singapore: Acceptable, But Nothing More

Personally, I find the service level in Singapore acceptable. I think the service level in retail shops are generally better than those in F&B. If I have to name one F&B in Singapore that has the worst service, it got to be Crystal Jade Kitchen.

Having been to the US (but not yet Japan), the service level in US is awesome for both for retail and F&B.

WordPress 10th Anniversary T-Shirt

Saw the WordPress 10th Anniversary T-Shirt post on WordPress.org and I told myself I have to get it!

It’s sale price is only US$10 (including free US Shipping) till 27th May 2013. For shipping to Singapore, I paid US$14.65. So in total I Paid US$10 (S$12.43) + US$14.65 (S$18.21) = US$24.65 (S$30.65)

Starbucks Stainless Steel Cold Cup (16 fl oz)

When I first saw the Starbucks Stainless Steel Cold Cup (S$36.90) on one of the photo in Starbucks Singapore Facebook Page two days ago, I told myself I have to get it.

Immediately after lunch, I went to the nearest 4 Starbucks stores located around my office but unfortunately these 4 stores ran out of stock. I was pretty disappointed, so I wrote on their Facebook page asking when it will be restock and whether are there any stores that have available stock.

LASIK at Shinagawa – Part 3

Post-Operation Day 1 (Tuesday, 2nd April 2013)
The next day, you will have to go back to have your eyes checked, I was very happy to have a 6/6 vision after the check. The nurse said my left eye is recovering faster than my right eye. Doctor also said everything is good, reminded me to keep up the same procedure of putting the 3 drops every hour and not to rub my eyes.

Since I have phobia of putting eye drops, the drop keep missing its target which is my eyes, a lot of drops has gone to waste and hence I bought 1 more bottle of Cravit and Pred Forte 1% and 2 more boxes of OptiClear UD as I don’t think they can last me for 1 more week.

LASIK at Shinagawa – Part 1

Public Talk on LASIK (Friday, 8th March 2013)
I attended the talk by Dr Lee Sao Bing on Friday, 8th March 2013 at Shinagawa LASIK & Eye Centre, which is located at 501 Orchard Road, #05-01, Wheelock Place, Singapore 238880. The talk is normally in the evening at about 7pm and will last till about 8.30pm.

If you are thinking of doing LASIK, I totally recommend you to attend the talk because at the end of the talk, there will be discount given to the LASIK operation. For the talk I attended, the discount given was for IntraLase Wavefront LASIK (both eyes) using the Schwind Amaris 750S Laser. The normal price is S$3,888 (S$4,160.16) and the discounted price is S$3,488 (S$3,732.16).
