Yap, my CANI assignment 1 is done, rendered the 26 seconds/650 frames of animation in 54 minutes. Import it to Premiere and added in music to it. File size is about 15.6mb. Report also completed. Will be doing my P&Q2 assignment 2 tomorrow. 1 more assignment to go for me, which is IWED.

Went to eat teppanyaki express located in the Food Junction at Lot 1 earlier on. After that went to play Warcraft 3 at the LAN shop, I can say that the LAN shop computers REALLY SUX. Reaper’s and Lester Goh’s computer hang about 3 times. And when playing the game, it is so laggy even though all settings have been set to lowest. In the end we end up being raped by 3 computers in a 3v3 match. Cannot make it.

Damm those rippers.

CANI assignment 1 deadline has been extended to Wednesday, 21st August 2002, my lecturer announced it today due to many requests by students.

Finished my CANI assignment 1 report, 600+ words with 4 pictures, will be rendering my animation tomorrow if eveything turns our as planned. Must finish my CANI by Thusday, so that I can forcus on my P&Q2 and IWED. Both assignments are due next week.

Watched “My Left Eye Sees Ghost” a chinese movie on vcd, well I must say the movie is good, storyline is good, very touching. Excellent movie, I recommand this movie to all people. Thats all folks.

My house downstairs there is a pasar malam(night market), met up with a couple of friends and went down for a walk. This year’s pasar malam very little stalls, maybe due to the economy. Within 20 minutes, we was able to walk round the whole pasar malam. After that we proceed to a nearby playground to chat, since we did not meet up for about a month.

On our way to the playground, saw a black cat crossing, so did not want to cross the path, as chineses always say, “never to cross a black cat’s path”. After making a turn, my left foot step into the drain, my foot scratch against the cement. Lucky only minor injury. How unlucky.

Added in textures and lightning for my CANI, almost complete, shall render it on Wednesday and later on add in sound using Premiere.

Went for my last driving theory lesson in the afternoon with Lester Goh. Well, the instructor command of English wasn’t that good, but his jokes are good. I still can remember how he pronounce penalise, “pen-na-lise”. LOL.

After my lessons, went to Queensway to buy Converse slippers, they are having 20% discount storewide, my brother also bought the same slippers as me and a pair of Adidas shoes.

Came back, immediately start work on my CANI assignment 1. Well I can say that the animation, camera shots are all done, now just left with textures, lighting and music. 5 days more to deadline.

7th week of school begins tomorrow.

Bascially, the whole day I stayed at home to rush my CANI assignment 1, spend about 7 hours including breaks to get 12 secs of my animation up and running. Went to visit my grandfather and my auntie at Toa Payoh. Went there for my dinner, had fish soup and fried oyster egg. The fried oyster egg at Lorong 6(I think) is recommanded by many televisoon programs like Yummy King and City Beat. It is the best fried oyster egg I have eaten.

Came back and spend about 3 hours extending my animation by 4 seconds, now my total animation lasted about 16 seconds. Got stuck after the 16th second, that is why I took a break to post this piece of blog. Shall countinue my animation later in the afternoon.

It is gettign late, about 1am now. Need to get some rest. Tomorrow still need to attend my last theory lesson.

Yap, today is Singapore 37th birthday. Singapore gain independence in 9th August 1965. Happy Birthday Singapore!~!~!~!

Watch Signs today, not a bad show, at lease it was better than Mimic2, the show lasted for 2 hours. Wanted to watch the 4.45pm show, went there at 3pm and the tickets all sold out. Bought the 7pm tickets at about 4pm, almost full house also, sat on the 4th row from the front.

Saw Clarence, my P&Q lecturer at Cineleisure watching the national day parade at the big screen, he said his house no television, lame excuses. LOL

After that, went to Tiong Bahru Market to eat supper with Zhi Wei.

Must start my CANI assignment 1 by hook or by crook tomorrow. Luckily P&Q assignment 2 deadline is extended to 21st August 2002. Hehe.

Went to Tanglin Halt to eat the duck noodle, because it has shifted from Pasir Panjang, it is still as good. My mom from young had been eating from the stall, what a long history that stall has. LOL.

Will be watcing The Signs tomorrow at Cineleisure Orchard with my poly friends. Shows start at 4.45pm, can’t really be borthered to watch nation day parade. Its just the same old thing every year, don’t know why so many people queue overnight for the tickets. If it is given free to me, I also will reject it.

All files has been uploaded to Orientek server, the only thing is that today the MYSQL server went down, of all days, today it went down. Can’t stand it. This is the second time it had happen since the opening of Orientek. Left some minor configurations and to restore the database before this url is redirected.

Tomorrow will be my country’s 37th birthday, HAPPY 37th BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE.

Catch “The Touch” at Lot 1 Shopping mall just now, well the show is not bad, storyline is kinda good but the downside of the show is the animation sucks big time. LOL.

Bought Heart Attack 5 from Music Junction, 3CDs, will be ripping them soon, after that the CD will be collecting dust.

When taking bus to West Mall before I proceed on to Lot 1, I saw a guy using Nokia 7650, wow. I must say that the phone looks good although it is quite big and bulky, the screen resolution is quite sharp and the image taken by the built-in camera seems fine to me. I went to check on the price of teh phone in M1 shop, it is only $918 with 2 years plan, it is alot cheaper than I expected. I expect to be at least $1200. Will be waiting for Nokia 6610. Hehe

Time to backup the MYSQL database.

Completed 700+ words for my P&Q2 assignment 2, 800 more words to go and 10 more days to deadline. Will be starting my CANI assignment 1 in the practical lessons tomorrow. Cannot afford to slack anymore.

Lost 3 rounds and won 1 round of Warcraft 3, how sad. My teamates all sucks except for the winning round. Blzzard has a matching system that is lousy, matches 2 level 5 players with 2 level 10 players, what the heck man.

Woot, will be catching The Touch with my friends at Lot 1 after school. Hope it will not be a failure like Mimic 2.

6th week of school started today, handed in my DEUI assignment, total of 16 pages. As usual computer labs are to the capacity, everyone is rushing for their job, thier last minute jobs, typical for students nowadays. I don’t denied the fact that I am one of them actually last time.

Started my P&Q assignment 2 today, deadline will be on 16th August 2002, 1.5k words report on strategic managment on Raffles Hotel. I had learnt my lessons last time for last minute jobs, so now I always start early.

Played 3 rounds of Warcraft III with phuse and mhz, won 2 rounds lost 1 round, which is ALOT of improvment compared to last time.
