If you bought Street Fighter IV for Xbox360, you are entitled to an exclusively free Street Fighter IV Calendar. You can redeem it from Challenger at Funan or Best Denki at VivoCity from 12th February 2009 to 28th February 2009.

Remember to bring along the receipt together with the game. I did not bring because it was not stated and that was a wasted trip!

Pre-ordered my Street Fighter IV for my Xbox 360 a couple of weeks ago at Mega Multimedia. Mega Multimedia have 2 shops at Jurong Point, 1 at JP1 and 1 at JP2 as well as at Century Square. The guy told me that if I pre-order now I can get SGD$5 off the retail price. I thought it must be quite a good deal. Yesterday I was there at Jurong Point and I went to ask when Street Fighter IV is coming, the same guy (I remembered his face) told me that it has been delayed till next week. I was like WTF? I know that SF4 will be launching on the 12th February 2009 because my friend in Microsoft told me about it and it is unlikely to be delayed.

At night, my good friend Paranoia aka Benjamin MSN me saying that the shop he pre-ordered from, Game Score which is located in Funan, has already called him asking him to come down and collect it today. I was quite pissed off with Mega Multimedia after that and I intended to call them in the morning to clarify. But before I could call them, they called me this morning and asked me to collect my pre-ordered SF4 as it is already in the store and told me over the phone that the price is SGD$85. So I thought on top of that, I will get another SGD$5 discount which makes it SGD$80, but the guy say SGD$85 is already the discounted price.

In the afternoon, Benjamin text me saying he also bought it at SGD$85 and told me that it is the standard retail price for those who pre-ordered. Mega Multimedia should not have told me that if I pre-order I will get a SGD$5 discount but instead should say that the pre-order price is SGD$85!

I went down to Jurong Point before my class and collected my SF4, the price was correct which is SGD$85. I will never buy anything from Mega Multimedia from today onwards, that will be my first and last purchase from them.

Got my hands on the standalone Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 Premier Edition from The Software Boutique for SGD$79.90. There is also another version of the Premier Edition which is SGD$89.90 and it is bundled with a T-Shirt and a 2GB Thumbdrive.

The default bundles is really lousy!

SGD$119 for the Officer’s pack which includes the Premier Edition and the Dicota Bag.

SGD$219 for the Commander’s Pack which includes the Dicota Bag, Premier Edition, Microsoft SideWinder X6 Gaming Keyboard and Red Alert 3 Garskin custom keyboard decals.

EA, please listen to this! Nobody wants all those stupid bundles judging from the posts in Hardware Zone Forums. People just want the standalone Premier Edition, nothing else.

Pictures time!

OMFG! Blizzard has finally announced Diablo III.

Introduction
Two decades have passed since the demonic denizens, Diablo, Mephisto, and Baal, wandered the world of Sanctuary in a vicious rampage to shackle humanity into unholy slavery. Yet for those who battled the Prime Evils directly, the memory fades slowly and the wounds of the soul still burn.

When Deckard Cain returns to the ruins of Tristram’s Cathedral seeking clues to new stirrings of evil, a comet from the heavens strikes the very ground where Diablo once entered the world. The comet carries a dark omen in its fiery being and it calls the heroes of Sanctuary to defend the mortal world against the rising powers of the Burning Hells – and even the failing luminaries of the High Heavens itself.

Features
Explore a fully-realized Sanctuary – the living, breathing gothic fantasy world of Diablo III rendered in gorgeous 3D.

Battle the unholy forces of the Burning Hells with all-new character classes like the otherworldly Witch Doctor, or with re-imagined warriors from Diablo’s past: such as the fierce Barbarian.

Rain Hell on your enemies wielding the interactive environment as a weapon: lay cunning traps, turn destructible objects against your foes, and use environmental obstacles to your advantage – all powered by the Havoc physics system.

Experience the intensity of multiplayer Diablo III over an all-new, wickedly-enhanced Battle.net platform with numerous enhancements to make connecting with your friends easier – and cooperative gameplay more fun.
