Bought the Crumpler Dry Red No. 3 from Crumpler Ion Orchard. It is retailing for SGD$299 and if you pay by American Express (AMEX) credit card, there is a 10% discount, so after the discount, it cost SGD$269.10.

The Crumpler Dry Red No. 3 is a carry-on cabin luggage and it fits exactly the cabin of the plane (I have seen my colleague used it). It measures 38cm x 55cm x 23cm (Width x Height x Depth) and weights 2.7kg.

It has a front compartment suitable for laptops and it can fit up to a 17″ laptop. It comes with a very nice drawstring shoe bag as well!

Saw the Crumpler Dry Red No. 2 a couple of months back, but it was out of stock island-wide. So when the stock came back in last week, I immediately went down and bought it. I went to VivoCity but they did not have a new piece, so they reserved a new piece for me at their Raffles City branch.

Crumpler Singapore is very active on their Facebook Page, it is so easy to check on stocks and prices, just post on their wall, and they will get back to you within 48 hours! Thumbs up for their customer engagement!

The Crumpler Dry Red No. 2 is retailing for SGD$145 but if you are paying by DBS Live Fresh Credit Card or if you are an EpiCentre member, you get 10% off any purchases. I ended up paying SGD$130.50 for it.

The Crumpler Dry Red No. 2 is a traveling bag with its 3 compartments (Front, Main, Back) secured by zips (which I like) and it is able to fit in an iPad with extra allowance to place other stuff like a digital camera or books. I shall be using it for my US trip next month!

I got the Cocoon CPG4BK GRID-IT Organizer, 7 x 5 Inch, Black (USD$9.55) and Cocoon CPG8BK GRID-IT Organizer, 10.5 x 7.5 Inch, Black (USD$15.56) from Amazon which is slightly cheaper than Cocoon’s online store.

I paid USD$21.46 for shipping and handling but that price also includes my Eye-Fi Pro X2 8 GB (next blog post).

I passed my MacBook Pro 15″ to my brother and will be using my work MacBook Pro 15″ as my “official” laptop and hence I will need to bring it around from my work place back to home and vice versa and needed a bag to hold it.

I am using Fabrix Case‘s MacBook Pro sleeve previously but that sleeves requires one of my hand to hold on to it and since the MacBook Pro is so heavy, I can’t use the hand to hold other stuff while securing my MacBook Pro tight. So I decided to go for a proper working bag which can fit my MacBook Pro as well as some accessories.

Spotted the Dederang Heist (SGD$165) from Crumpler which has a carrying handle and comes with a detachable sling strap. Perfect, exactly what I am looking for! There is a 10% discount for paying with DBS Live Fresh Credit Card. It cost SGD$148.5 after discount.

The bag is very lightweight, slim and compact and fits nicely an 11″ MacBook Air! Personally I am using it as my iPad bag till I get a MacBook Air next year or so!
