Bought the Crumpler’s Artisanal Loaf for SGD$40 from VivoCity’s Cumpler store. There is a discount of 10% if paid by CitiBank Credit Card, so ended up paying SGD$36.

I got this the day before I left for Hong Kong on 22nd April 2011 and used it to put all my chargers and it’s cables. Fits well and with lots of spare space!

Li Xiang got me the Crumpler Herbas (L) Wide as one of my birthday presents! Thanks Dear!

The bag is very lightweight, slim and compact and fits nicely an 11″ MacBook Air! Personally I am using it as my iPad bag till I get a MacBook Air next year or so!

Crumpler release a new pouch called “The Tuft” 2 days ago and this time, the pouch came with a Crumpler’s carbine hook. According to Crumpler at Raffles City Facebook Page, it is available in 3 sizes and in 3 colors (Red, Black & Beige).

However, when I went there on the day they announce it, there are only 2 sizes left, the medium and large. The medium size (SGD$35) is left with beige, and the large size (SGD$40) is left with black and red. If you are using DBS Live Fresh Credit Card or EpiCenter Member Card, there is an additional 10% discount.

I got the large one for SGD$40 and after a 10% discount, it is SGD$36.

I am a big fan of Crumpler and I got like 5 of their bags and 5 pouches. I have been eying on the remake of the Seedy One for a couple of months now and I finally got it last week. The retail price is SGD$169 but I got 10% discount for being a EpiCentre member. There is also a 10% discount if you are using DBS Live Fresh credit card as well. If you are using AMEX card, you also get a 10% discount but only at Orchard Ion’s branch. Paid SGD$152.10 for it after the discount.

I chose the black color and I think I took the last new piece in Singapore. When I went to the branch at Raffles City, they do not have a new piece and they help me called up other branches and only Wheelock have a piece left, so I went to Wheelock and got it. Thumbs up for the excellent service.

By the way, the Seedy One can fit a MacBook Pro 15″ (without any casing) and still have room for the charger and a small pouch to put your accessories. Initially when I went to the Ion branch, the staff told me that the Seedy One could not fit it a MacBook Pro 15″ and they ask me to go for the Seedy Three (SGD$189) instead. I find it too big for my liking and did not get it.

A few weeks later, I decided to bring my MacBook Pro 15″ to Raffles City branch instead. Before I took out my MacBook Pro, I asked the staff and she told me that they tested it with a MacBook Pro 15″ and it fits. So just to be sure, I took out my MacBook Pro and true to what the staff said it fits just fine! So I guess Raffles City staff are more knowledgeable.

I am a huge fan of Crumpler and have been looking for a working bag that fits my iPad and A4 sized paper. At first I thought of getting the Skivvy (Small) as it cost only SGD$81 but when I went to the Crumpler store at Ion Orchard, I changed my mind.

The Skivvy (Small) is basically like a laptop sleeve, it can fit just nice a 12″ laptop and have difficulty fitting in the charger and there are not much compartments to place my other gadgets like Camera, Portable HDD, etc.

The sales staff was very friendly and recommended me The Moderate Embarrassment. It also can fit a 12″ laptop and there are more compartments to place my stuff. So I ended up getting the The Moderate Embarrassment for SGD$155.

Note: The price stated in the online store is slightly more expensive than what is stated in the Crumpler store itself.

And Crumpler, if you are reading this, it is time for you to revamp your website. I seriously hated the flash site.

While you are here check out crumpler.nl, they have freaking loads of unique range of Crumpler products available to the Netherlands only. * Jealous*
