Hi, I’m a new user to Wordpress & blogging, I was just wondering how you run your plugin installs after activating the plugins?

E.g. instruction says to run useronline-install.php, how do I do that? I can’t find it anywher on the WP dashboard.

I was curious as to how I can get the email plugin to display the correct background for the sidebar, currently it loads the single post background but I’d like it to display the background that WordPress is using everywhere else on the site, which has the sidebar background on it. Any help?

WP-email has some problems with latin characters. Wich encoding is it using ?

Hmm the encoding is iso-8859-1, I will fix it in the next release. In the mean time, open up class-phpmailer.php find
var $CharSet = “iso-8859-1″;
change to:
var $CharSet = “utf-8″;

See whether it works

Sorry forgot to mention I see what he was talking about.

If you go to your http://www.lesterchan.net/blogs/wp-useronline.php page and then click on a user that is a guest, that is not a member. Like me.

You then get that error:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/gamerz/public_html/blogs/wp-stats.php on line 179

So that’s on your site and it’s the same with the plugin of course.

Sorry, again. Just want to be clear.

It shows me under Member Online Now even though I am not a member. That’s werid. You can see that by clicking on my name on my posts. I’m a guest.

So should I not be shown as a guest on the members online page as well. Sadly your plugin also acts this way.

Just an idea. Only real members (those who created an account and are signed in) should show up as a member on the members online page.

Also how about giving the user the option to remain offline. That is not show up on the members online list. I like my privacy.

Will: Members is as long you posted a comment you are a member, if not you will see a long list of guest, maybe I should have an option to set or something in the future. The stats page is still based on 1.5.2, so there are some bugs which are fixed and not reflected in this site. I will upgrade to a new layout before ypgrading to WP 2.0

Though what I ment is only show guests who have posted. Not all guests. Or possiably an option for both?

Hey Lester!

I just upgraded to WP 2.0.1 and your new wp-polls plugin and had a quick question… How can I go about changing the relative length/height of pollbar.gif? I was able to change it in the polls archive but the current poll is getting that information from somwhere else… when I edit that info (the 0.9 multiplier to something like 4.2) the bigger poll versions look great but the sidebar poll gets all whacked out lol…
