Went to watch Hellboy at GV Grand by myself. Sounds like a date with myself. The show is around 2 hours(excluding those stupid GV advertisements). From my point of view, I find the show more interesting than Spiderman or Dare Devil, thus I would say is better than the two. Thumbs up.
Had dinner with Jackey and co at Crystal Jade at Ngee Ang City. The food was rather expensive but it was quite ok. Had dessert at Swensens at Crown Prince Hotel after that. As usual, that Swensen outlet is always crowded. Spend $30 just on food today. Ouch.
Saw the 2nd trailer for The Day After Tomorrow, which opens here on 28th May 2004. It was awesome especially the visual effect. I will definitely catch this movie before I go in NS and I think it will be my last movie.
I am very excited about Resident Evil 2.
Today, met up with Patrick, my primary school mate. He said want to introduce don’t know what business to me. It is MLM, but since he is a friend of mine for more than 10 years, I give him face and went. I never like those MLM shit anyway.
Ate lunch at Lao Pa Sat, and surprising the food that is not that expensive, I think is cheaper than some food court. Went to his office place at the building opposite SGX Center. I think the company name is called NIT Paris or something. He said the company is not MLM but called network marketing. I find it is the same shit but different smell. I never believe in those crap anyway. Conclusion, I never join. If it is so easy to earn money, I don’t see why there are poor people among Singapore.
Went for jogging again with Calvin. Now my whole body aches.
Frozen banana dip with chocolate absolutely taste heavenly. Hagan Daz called it Fonde I think
Had dinner yesterday at Country Mana in Great World City. They are having their 11th anniversary promotion. Set dinner for $7.99 and another $1.99 for soup and another $1.99 for desert. The food was ok but not filling enough. Give me Ponderosa anytime.
Today had lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant called Vietlang in CHIMES. Luckily the restaurant has no dress code. The ambiance was rather good, the price of the food was quite reasonable. The food was ok but it tastes more Thai to me.
Finally continued work on my ITP after a few days of rest, hope to complete the whole programming part before this weekend and I can start on my documentation/user’s manual. The deadline given to me for the whole project is 19th April 2004.
For a start, went jogging today with Calvin, not to sure I ran how how much. But I am sure it is less than 2km. Will increase the distance as time goes by. I must make an effort to run at least 2 times per week and need to train on my weak arms.
On Friday went to Phuse’s house to help in solve his computer problem. After staying there for 6 hours, we still can’t solve it because his motherboard is a goner.
We had dinner at Kopitiam beside West Mall, the Ban Mian there rocks. $4, very big portion, lots of ingredients and taste good!
Yesterday, went out with Jackey, Laily and LiXiang to shop around Orchard. I bought the Matrix Revolution DVD while LiXiang bought all the 3 part VCDs. Saw 1 Crumpler bag that cost $89, think will be getting that. Bought a hair dye also together with Jackey, going to get my hair coloured again this Good Friday.
NS is in 2 more months, so whatever I like to do, better do it fast. Suddenly I feel my life is shortened to just 2 months.
Met up with my secondary school friends at around 10pm in Orchard’s Starbucks, as usual talk about alot of army stuffs as 2 of us will be going in soon. Need to ask for some advice or rather ask them to give us advice on what to do and what not to do and what to bring and what not to bring.

Met up with Jackey and Co at Jurong Point for dinner. Wanted to eat Fish & Co, but most of them are on budget constrain., thus we went to the foodcourt for our dinner. I ate the fried fish steamboat, the fried fish is nice but the soup is too milky. Geargina and Terry also ate from the same stall but we purposely ordered different dish. Apparently their soup taste better. =(
Please check your NS enlistment status here.
Mine is:
Your enlistment is between June 2004 till November 2004. An enlistment notice will be sent to you two months before your enlistment date. For further enquiries, please call MINDEF eService Center at 1800-364 6333 or email to us at msc@miw.com.sg.
If you are enlisted in June, you will get your NS letter by the end of this month. I pray mine will be July or August. I really hate NS to the core of the core. Bloody waste 2 1/2 years of my life.
Just watched finished Timeline. I kinda like the show, is nice at least for me. It is something like Butterfly Effect but less confusing. Thumbs up for the movie.
I also watched Love Actually again. As usual Singapore’s Censorship Board censor some parts of the movie. If you watched it in Singapore, you would miss a story about 2 porn stars who fell in love, the scene features nudity.
I really HATE movie being censored off, be it nudity or violence, it will just spoil the original movie. Thus, downloaded movies are always the best because they are no censorship at all.
Teens nowadays are just 1 click away from porn.

My bandwidth for March finally exceeded 1GB.
Singapore will take on Japan tonight at Jalan Besar Stadium. It will be telecast live on Channel i at 8pm. The odds on Singapore Pools is kinda interesting. If you buy Singapore Win is $1 pay $15. Draw is $1 pay $9. Japan Win is $1 pay $1.05. I can confirm that 99% Singapore will lose. The remaining 1% is either referee kelong or they are damm luckly.
2010 is the year set by the minister for Singapore Team to go into World Cup is really a joke. Not say I don’t support our own team, but we need to be realistic. If you see how Singapore’s team play and how other country’s team play, you will see a huge difference. I would predict that Japan will beat Singapore 4 to 1.
Nowadays there are a rising number of food vendors that have attitude problem. Throughout the whole transaction (Ordering Food, Collecting Food and Paying Food), it can be total silence. Even if you say “Thank You”, they do not even have a basic courtesy to say “Welcome”. That sucks.
Next time we should blacklist them, maybe an online database would help.
*Update* Woo, Japan win Singapore 2-1 quite disappointing. Singapore played like shit during the 1st half while Japan played very good. During 2nd half, Japan played like shit while Singapore played very good. Anyway, thumbs up for Singapore =D
Take a look at this thread, Grandson Married Grandmother. You can find all sorts of marriage in India. Imagine his father suddenly become his son.
Went to pray my grandmother yesterday to avoid the crowd next week due to Ching Ming Festival. Apparently almost everyone think the same and at the temple it is pretty crowded.
Watched Darren and Evelyn Wedding on Channel U. It was pretty grand and I think the wedding must be very expensive, but I think is kinda worth it as you normally only need to go through it one time. Money makes the world goes round.
Watched The Haunted Mansion today at home, it was kinda nice, especially the last part, quite touching. I expected it to be some crap and lame show but apparently it turn out to be the opposite. The singing statues is the funny!
Hope to catch Scooby Doo 2, LiXiang On? I just like cartoons!
Just 5 more weeks to the end of ITP!
Receive an invitation for the ICT D&D, it is at Traders Hotel and it cost $55, is very expensive, with that price I can eat 2 buffet dinner. I doubt I am going unless most of my friends are going.
Take a look at this thread, The Truth About Girls.
Met up with my team today for the competition at Sim Lim Square. Just before the match starts, there alot of cock up, thus the whole match was delayed for about 45 minutes. We got trashed by Ash Team 2 16-0, we trashed BDay Team 8-0. The 3rd match was a walked over because the other team back out. Our 2nd match end at 7.45pm and we are suppose to wait till 3.30am for the next match and our next opponent is the best UT clan in Singapore. We saw them play and make the decision to forfeit because it is impossible to win them. On overall the match system suck, it is not about endurance, it is about waiting or rather overnight gaming. Thumbs down to the organizer.
And I think alot of teams forfeit too. We are not sore losers but smart losers, why wait for 6 hours to play UT and can’t even get any prizes while you can play it at the comfort of your own home. =D
Anyway, I got a free new design fourskin t-shirt because of my birthday. =D
