Met up with my #pixel.junkies friends for a LAN training session at IRC at Parklane, the computer there kinda suck especially the graphics card, price pretty standard, $2.50 per hour.

Luckily I was around Parklane area because the organizer of the UT2K4 competition called me up at 6.30pm and ask me to meet at the LAN shop opposite Parklane to draw lots for the match at 9pm. Got A5 as my team number. The match SYSTEM SUCKS. The person who thought of that is an idiot. Ours is the first match and also the last match, people normally start early and end early, ours is start early end late.

Hang around City Link Pacific Coffee to talk about some strategy, hope we can at least get 3rd or something which I think is very hard or rather impossible (lets be realistic), but the prizes are very attractive though.

There are 16 teams, split into 8-8, each team will fight 7 matches and each matches will last 45 minutes. The competition will last from 2pm to 4pm the next day. Our in-between break is around 4 hours, don’t know what are we going to do with that 4 hours when it comes to midnight or in the morning.

I didn’t realize Paradiz Center has gone through a major renovation and it looks so nice now unlike last time.

Celebrated my 20th birthday with Jackey, Johnson, Terry, LiXiang, Serene, Suqin and Laily at Suntec City’s Joaquim Buffet Restaurant. The food was quite okie but the company you are eating with is great.

Went to Esplanade later and they gave me many presents there. I love all the presents and Laily did one portrait in vector arts of the 9 of us. That present is priceless, I really love it. Thanks Bong!

When we are Esplanade there is also a girl who is celebrating her birthday, but not sure how old is she, And Terry asked me to make friends with her, maybe I should actually. =p

Received a SMS from my lecturer and he told me that I am in the finals of the WSC: Web Trade which will be held on 1st July 2004, I was quite overjoyed. Another great birthday present for me!

Met up with Zeus today for a Ba Chou Mee lunch at Marina Square. Caught The Butterfly effects. It is a good show, interesting and unique storyline and least confusing as the Runaway Jury but still can be confusing. Thumbs up for this movie.

Met up with Jackey and co to help me dye my hair at LiXiang House, quite pai say, 4 people help me out in that. Thanks Jacky, LiXiang, Laily and Serene! You all are the best.

Heard from alot of my classmates that SP network had been affect by w32.witty.worm, and it specifically target Blackice Firewall and RealSecure applications. What the virus will do are all random and very hard to spot on.

Will be meeting my Supervisor tomorrow morning in SP, sigh, have to wake up so early.

As I am dying my hair for the first time, the colour IS NOT OBVIOUS at all, shall dye it again next week or so (hint hint =p).

Saturday was a busy day, was out all the way from 10am to 4am. Went with LiXiang to apply for passport, to my surprise it only takes 10 minutes. Fill up the form, pay and drop it into the box and next week your passport will be ready. It is so efficient. I did inquire when we need to change our IC, and it will be 30 years old, not immediately after NS.

Met up with Jacky for a shopping trip, bought a casual long sleeves shirt from Levi’s because I have a $20 voucher, so paid $59.90. Jacky bought a pair of Levi’s jeans and 2 t-shirts, while LiXiang bought a techno CD. Was quite surprised that she also like Techno/Trance because as far as I know, other that HuiJuan and I, no one really likes techno/trance.

Watched Runaway Jury at Plaza Singapura. It was a good movie, interesting storyline but I somehow do not understand the last part, if anyone can explain the last part starting from why the bad guy subordinate visited the mom’s house it would be great.

Was sitting at Mac Donalds when my secondary school friend called me up for supper and I went with them to Geylang to eat the Beef Hor Fun.

I came home at 4am and slept all the way till 5pm, that makes 13 hours of sleep. Finally started work on my ITP again after 3 days of not touching it. Really getting sick of doing programming.

Had dinner last night we Jackey and Co at Newton’s Food Center. We ordered lots of food but none of them taste good, just average. Head down to Orchard later for a walk.

Today, went to Funan to collect my DVD version of Unreal Tournament 2004 from Software Boutique. I regret buying from there because I got cheated 5 bucks. It wa selling at $69.90 while PK Computer was selling for only $64.90.

The game is good, so much better than UT2k3. Shall cut the crap, back to Resident Evil on Channel 5.

I can’t wait for Resident Evil 2.

Yesterday, my fucked up Internet connection disconnected 5 times. When I woke up this morning and I check my IRC log, it shows it disconnected another 5 times totally to 10 times within 24 hours. S*****b, if you are reading this please do something about your fucking Internet connection.

NONE of Singapore ISP is good. They should really wake up their fucking idea. Slow downstream and upstream speed and charge so expensive and worst of all, fucked up support.

Anyway, a very ironic incident happened. Search On For For Suspected Armed Robbers On Pulau Tekong. Pulau Tekong suppose to be a military island and outsiders can get onto the island so easily. From what I heard from HWZ forums, SAF is sending lots of people down to the island just to capture those 3 armed robbers, is like a few hundred SAR21s pointing at those robbers with pistols?

Went to Funan yesterday because I thought UT2K4 was supposed to be launched yesterday, but who knows due to some airplane problems, shipment had been delayed to 19th March 2004 (Friday). I ordered my limited edition DVD version of the game at Software Boutique as it is the only store I know that sell the DVD version in the whole of Funan. No choice have to pay my NETS, sighz another $70 bucks gone. Can’t wait for my 3rd month pay.

Had lunch with my mom, grandmother and brother at Swensens and ate something light at Ya Kun later. I just loved Ya Kun Kaya Toast. Last time there was only 1 store at the very old Lau Pa Sat (it has already been demolished), now it has gone into franchise and thus, there are shops all over Singapore. Give the Ice Blended Tea Si Peng, Kaya Toast and Half-Boiled Egg a try. Don’t know why these days, I have been craving for half-boiled egg.

UT2K4 is already on BitTorrent. The file size is 4.1GB and I am only getting a download speed of 10kbps. It will take me at least 1 week to download it, but anyway since I ordered the DVD version, I just download the CD version for fun since it is free.

Anyway, Amoy Street Food Center have lots of nice food. Last timed used to go there for breakfast when I am working, but ever since it undergo renovations, I didn’t went there till today.

Went to Orchard yesterday. My brother bought lots of stuffs. My mom got herself a new handphone, same as mine Samsung s500. She used my grandfather line to upgrade and my grandfather took her old phone which is Nokia 7210.

We went to Suntec City for the Food Fair because my grandfather wanted to. It was extremely crowded. Carpark is full at Suntec, Marina and Millenia Walk. I suggested Esplanade’s Carpark and surprisingly it was quite empty. People ain’t as smart as me =p, just kidding. I went to the IT Fair 2004 for a while to get iSkin for my iPod and a 100 Imation CDRs. I realized that there are 3 different resellers, 1 is Apple Center, 1 is PA Mart and I have no idea what the last one is. I should get my iPod from the Apple Center, at least their plastic bag is nicer. I bought from PA Mart and they give me those wet market type plastic bag. Lessoned learned, always survey around and see where people buy from even if it is under the same brand booth.

Went over to the food fair which is on the 6th level. It was more crowded than the IT Fair, we just walk around the first few rows and came out.

Today, went to Funan for lunch because I want to pre-order the limited edition of UT2K4. It is 2 DVDs. But when I asked the PK Computer, they do not know what I am talking and keep telling me it will be out tomorrow and it will be 6 CDs. Damm those noobs. They do not even know their products well. I e-emailed one computer store in Funan, they got the stock but cannot pay by VISA. Damm it. What is wrong with Singapore retailers, got free gifts only must pay by Nets or Cash, if not charge you with a 2% surcharge. Stupid rules.

Looks like I have to stick with the 6 CDs version. “Please Insert Disc 1 To 6″, just give me the creeps.

Finally I went to get my hair trimed at Everton’s Park after nagging from my dad. And yes, I finally can colour my hair, been waiting for this for a long time.

While waiting for my hair to dry the natural way, I got nothing to do, thus shall blog.

Met up with my secondary school friends today after a month of no meet ups. Luckily today all of them are free. I don’t really like to stay at home on Saturdays unless I am very tired. The mood for staying at home is just not there.

We went to Sim Lim Square and then Bugis. Tried the new shrooms burger from KFC. It is kinda cheap, $2.95 for a set meal which includes that burger, whip potato and a small pepsi. Normally people will not be full after eating that burger because it is so small, but I expected it since it is only $2.95, can’t really complain much.

Went to Bugis and it started raining very heavily. Didn’t know one of my friends was so afraid of the thunder noise, or rather I would say phobia. We was imaging things, imagine a lightning struck on the glass roof of Bugis Junction, then the glass was shattered. Imagined all these actions in slow motion. Woo, kinda like Independence Day.

While taking the MRT back with them, I also saw a woman carrying a child. All those seated was all adults and none give up their sits for her.

Met up with them again at 12.30am for supper. There are like 7 of us, thus we need 2 cars. I drove my dad’s car after missing in action for almost a month. I really love driving late in the night because there are not much cars and thus not so much phobia.

Need to wake up at 11am to go to Heeren, which leaves me with 7 hours of sleep. =(

Played with my iPod this morning, feel abit dumb because I do not know how to use it because the user manual ain’t helpful at at all, but luckily there is the Internet and there is this site called iPod Lounge.

While having lunch with my mom at Hans in Great Eastern Building saw Patricia. Didn’t know she and WeiLin is working in the same company.

Met up with XiuYu at Suntec City. It was really crowded from CityLink all the way to Suntec. Really have a hard time walking to the IT Show 2004. XiuYu bought help her company buy 2 external Iomega 80GB HDD for $259 each and she bought herself a Iomega 4x DVD Writer for $199. She is the first female friend I know that have a DVD writer now.

Went to the new Suntec City food court, quite spacious and the design is quite nice. They put mirrors on some walls to bluff us in believing that there are alot of sits and people because everything will x2.

Ok, here comes the interesting part where I think it will be my most vulgar entry.

I was taking bus 14 home from Suntec, during the journey, there is this lady carrying a child boarded the bus. It is a double decker bus. She boarded and just stood by at the staircase there. I was sitting at the first sit near the 2nd door and below the TV Mobile. I was looking at her and thinking, “ok if she look at me, I will give up my sit to her”. 5 minutes pass her back is still facing me. So I just heck and carry on watching my TV Mobile because AMI3 is starting. Then suddenly, there is this fucking fucked up bitch came down from the upper deck and immediately shouted at me and ask me to give up my sit to that lady who is about 2 meters(I roughly measured) and her back is facing me. I was fucking shock and dumb-folded that I stood up without realizing it. For just 5 minutes I was just so fucking dumb-folded. I was watching TV Mobile and listening to my iPod and suddenly that fucking bitch just shouted. And she said I got no common sense. After that when I was sober, she did not even look at me. I keep staring at her. When that bitch alighted at the bus stop behind Cineleisure, she never even look at me. I am no fucking chance to point my middle finger at her which I planned to. I am sure she is above 40 years old and she sure have a fucked up face. I will definitely remember her fucking face and I will fucking shout at her if I see her on the street.

Just because we are fucking teenager, doesn’t mean we always have to fucking give sits to the needy when the adults do not do it. Every time when there is a “Give Up These Seats To The Needy” and when there are adults and teenagers sitting, people always stare at the teenagers and like indirectly telling them “Please give up your fucking seats”, while the adults just sit there and fucking pretend.

I am so god damm fucking pissed.
