Brought Crumpler’s The Fug (Black) which is a very slim neoprene sleeve for my 13″ MacBook Air from Paragon‘s Crumpler store, it cost SGD$55, but if you are a CitiBank credit card holder, you enjoy a 10% discount. I ended up paying SGD$49.50 for it.
I was contemplating between this and the SwitchEasy’s Thins, but ended up I went for this instead because:

Crumpler Sleeve – The Fug (13 Inch MacBook Air) – Packaging Front

Crumpler Sleeve – The Fug (13 Inch MacBook Air) – Nice Cupboard

Crumpler Sleeve – The Fug (13 Inch MacBook Air) – Stitching

Crumpler Sleeve – The Fug (13 Inch MacBook Air) – Fits Perfectly
The Twelve South BookArc (Apple Store – Singapore link) which cost SGD$65 is my second birthday present from Li Xiang!
The Twelve South BookArc holds up the MacBook Air (2nd generation) upright which frees up table space if you are not using your MacBook Air’s screen as a secondary monitor. There is also a gap in the stand which allows the power cable to pass through.
Unlike the Twelve South MagicWand, the build of the BookArc is so much better and felt more solid as it is made up of aluminium. And with regards to design it also goes very well with the design of the MacBook Air (2nd generation).
If you are using a MacBook Air (2nd generation), I totally recommend getting this and of course if you are using your MacBook Air (2nd generation) with Apple’s Thunderbolt 27″ Display (SGD$1,348), you must get this!

When I first joined mig33 back on 1st February 2010, I got a brand new MacBook Pro 15″ (Mid 2009) running on Intel Core 2 Duo (2.66 GHz) and with 4GB of DDR3 SDRAM. Over the years, my MacBook Pro became slower and slower as applications get more and more intensive and OS gets more and more resource demanding.
I made a couple of “complains” to my immediate supervisor and eventually he approved my Purchase Order (PO) to get a new MacBook.
I need to get it ASAP as my old MacBook Pro is making me frustrated everyday and lowering my productivity, I decided not to wait for the refresh and go ahead and get the 13″ MacBook Air (Mid 2011) with Intel Core i7 Dual-Core 1.8GHz/4GB DDR3 SDRAM/256GB Flash Storage. This is the maximum specification that the MacBook Air 13″ can get.
The total cost is SGD$2,219.99 (Apple MacBook Air 13 Inch – Mid 2011) + SGD$348.00 (Apple Care) = SGD$2,567.99. I ordered it on the 13th March 2012 and I received it on the 20th March 2012.
