Repair function will check your database for any errors and repair it http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/repair.html

Great work on the WP-DBManager and I have a question?
What exactly does the “repair database” function do?

Ran the function but did not have any understanding for what gets “repaired.”
