WordPress 2.8.2

WordPress 2.8.2 has just been release.

WordPress 2.8.2 fixes an XSS vulnerability. Comment author URLs were not fully sanitized when displayed in the admin. This could be exploited to redirect you away from the admin to another site.

    I was about to revert to 2.8 again after installing 2.8.1 and when attempting to login got a file list… Scared the hell out of me, will be updating tonight.

    Wow thanks for the modified files. I tried to ‘automatically update’ and it couldn’t find the root directory!?! LOL

    Upgrade WordPress 2.8.2 Blog Platform…

    AhTim dot com is now powered by WordPress 2.8.2. Its already a year since my last upgrade to WordPress 2.6.
    The total upgrade time is 27 minutes, including plugins reactivation. I use the 3 easiest steps to upgrade instead of normal way.
