My WordPress Plugins Screenshots

I have finally took some time off to update my WordPress plugins screenshot page. There used to be screenshots for only WP-Ban and WP-Polls. But now, all my plugins screenshots are all there, all 14 of them. Some plugins like WP-Ban, WP-DBManager and WP-ServerInfo can’t be shown in this demo site as it is for administrators only, but now with the screenshots, you can get a glimpse of it before you download the plugin.

WP-PostRatings 1.11

There is a bug in WP-PostRatings 1.11 together with WordPress 2.1.x which will not remember any ratings if you have rated the post. The bug seems to go away if you are using WordPress 2.2. I presumed there is some changes to the add_post_meta() and update_post_meta() in WP 2.2. I have since fixed the bug and now it works perfectly on WP 2.1.x and WP 2.2.

If you guys have previously downloaded WP-PostRatings 1.11, kindly re-download it again. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Lester Chan’s WordPress Plugins June 2007 Update

It is 1st June 2007 over my side (GMT+8) while the rest of the world may still be at 31st May 2007. I am proud to present to you my 12 updated plugins out of a total of 14 plugins. Most of them are just bugs fixes and some new minor features here and there. The plugins that changes the most are WP-Polls, WP-PageNavi, WP-Ban, WP-DBManager and of course WP-Sticky is now 1.00 instead of 1.00 beta 2.

WP-Polls now feature multiple options, future poll scheduling, poll data log mining and some parts of the admin backend are now AJAXed.

WP-PageNavi has been revamp in terms of looks and options as you can see at the bottom of this page, it features digg style design navigation with the use of style sheet and now almost all the options can be set in “WP-Admin -> Options -> PageNavi”.

I have added some new features in WP-Ban, like banned by referrers url, banned by specific IP range, exclude a specific IP from being banned and the ability to preview banned message.

I have added scheduler to WP-DBManager, the ability to optimize, backup, backup and email the database dump file after X number of days/weeks/months. I have also added a Repair Database feature.

Be sure to read the readme.html and checkout the changelog for more information and most importantly NOTE THE TABS AT THE TOP

Please ensure that your WordPress version is at least 2.1 before you can use the updated plugins.

Updated This Site WP-Polls To 2.11 RC1

I have updated this site WP-Polls to 2.11 RC1 to test out the multiple answers voting feature in WP-Polls 2.20. You can set the maximum number of answers that the user can vote, in this case, I set it to 14 as there are 14 answers.

Note the poll footer that says “Total Voters” and NOT “Total Votes”. The individual answer on the other hand is “Votes” and not “Voters” and the percentage is calculated based on the “Total Voters”.

Vote away on the right hand sidebar.
