Ah yes, finally an update. Been very very busy for the past weeks, sleeping early, doing programming and going out. Finally found some time in camp to post this.

Just came back from my 1st gym session in SAFTI. I must exercise, if not I will be getting fatter each day and my clothes will soon be smaller.

Day 1 (Friday, 02-12-05)
Our maxi cab came at 8 am; we reached the airport slightly before 9 am. Had our breakfast at the Terminal 1 canteen before checking in. Our flight, FD3502 is at 11 am. The flight is around 2 hours. We reached Bangkok at about 12 pm Bangkok time. Their time is 1 hour before Singapore.

We checked into Asia Hotel before proceeding to Mah Boon Krong (MBK) for lunch at the foodcourt. We took the Bangkok Mass Transit System (BTS), it is similar to our MRT but just that all the stations is elevated. They are still using our Farecard system, the same as Singapore last time. Their one day pass cost TH฿100 and allow you unlimited rides for the day. TH฿100 is around $4.20 SGD.

Hi guys and girls, I am back from Thailand. Yesterday when I came home and I on the power of the main switch in my room, I saw a very bright white flare coming out from my cable modem for 3 seconds, and seconds later, I can smell the smoke coming out of my cable modem. And my cable modem is fried.

My old modem lasted me for 6 years. I think it is time for it to RIP. Went to buy a new Motorola Cable Modem (SB5101) from Plaza Singapura’s Starhub shop. Cost me around $99.23.
