Recoil Winders was the [7th Kickstarter project](https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/untangleyourcords/recoil-windersnever-fight-tangled-cords-again) that I backed. I backed it this year on the 6th February 2012 and the project got funded on the 26th February 2012. They raised a total of US$141,465 out of the initial goal of just US$10,000. After 3 months in the works, I finally received it 2 days ago on Monday, 4th June 2012.

I pledged US$55 for 2 complete sets of Recoil Winders and 2 Racks (2 Small, 2 Medium and 2 Large Winders) and for international shipping it is an additional US$9. Paid a total of US$64 (S$82.31).

**What is Recoil Winders**

> Recoil Cord Winder, the ONLY cord winder that is automatic, spring loaded, and designed to wind almost every one of the cords and cables that clutter our world.

## How it works

I had some cable winders previously and they the quality of those is nowhere near the Recoil Winders. Even though I bought only 6 winders, there is 7 in the package I received. David (the guy behind the project) gave us a surprise by giving us an additional small black winder for all backers!
