Been waiting for the [Innergie MagiCable Duo Lightning Connector](http://www.myinnergie.com/productdetail.php?productid=238) for a long time, ever since Apple announced the Lightning cable. After more than a year, Innergie finally released it!

I bought it at Wheelock Place’s EpiCentre for **S$49**. The only reason I bought it is to blog about it, otherwise I see no reason to get this overpriced cable. Seriously, S$49 for a cable that has just both Micro USB and Lightning connection? [Amazon](http://www.amazon.com/Innergie-MagiCable-2-6-Feet-Lightning-Charge/dp/B00EWGSGNG/) is selling it for US$30, which is slightly cheaper.

The normal [Innergie Magic Cable Duo](http://www.myinnergie.com/productdetail.php?productid=56) and [Innergie Magic Cable Trio](http://www.myinnergie.com/productdetail.php?productid=55) are only retailing for S$29 each.

The only downside to the cable (besides the price) is the base of the Lightning head is too wide. If your case only has a slight cut-out just for the Lightning head like the [Apple’s iPhone 5s Case](http://store.apple.com/sg/product/MF045FE/A/iphone-5s-case-black), it might not fit.
