[Xiaomi](http://www.xiaomi.com/) will be launching the [Redmi](http://www.xiaomi.com/sg/redmi/) in Singapore tomorrow, 21st February 2014 at 12pm for **S$169** without contract. Redmi is also known as Hongmi in China which directly translated to Red Rice in English.

At launch there are also some accessories for the Redmi:

- Accessories Pack (Spare Battery, Battery Charger, Screen Protector & Protective Case) – S$28
- Spare Battery – S$9.99
- Battery Charger – S$9.99
- Screen Protector (Matte or Clear) – S$4.99
- Protective Case – S$8.99

You can get it from [Xiaomi Singapore Online Store](http://store.xiaomi.com/sg/redmi/) <del datetime="2014-02-21T00:58:38+00:00">tomorrow</del> today or from local telcos starting from next Thursday, 27th February 2014.

Two weeks later on Friday, 7th March 2014, they will be launching the [Mi 3](http://www.xiaomi.com/en/mi3) and it will be retailing for **S$419** without contract.

Both Redmi and Mi 3 does not come with 4G/LTE capability. According to [Hardwarezone](http://www.hardwarezone.com.sg/tech-news-xiaomi-sell-mi-3-flagship-smartphone-singapore-march-7), the Singapore variant of Mi 3 will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (MSM8274AB) quad-core 2.3GHz processor, and is available only in 16GB.
