So after more than a year after I got [my Pebble](https://lesterchan.net/blog/2013/02/22/pebble-watch/), [Pebble Smart Watch](https://getpebble.com/) is now officially available in Singapore.
It is being brought in by [Leader Radio Technologies (LRT)](http://www.leaderradio.com.sg/) and that makes LRT the sole distributor of Pebble in Singapore.

The Pebble had been made available since Monday, 26th May 2014 and is retailing for **S$249** at these stores:
- Challenger 1
- Courts 1
- Digital Style 1
- DG Lifestyle
- EpiCentre
- EpiLife 1
- Harvey Norman
- NuBox
- Newstead Technologies 1
- SingTel
1 Selected stores
If you are a member of Challenger or EpiCentre/EpiLife, you will get a 5% discount at the respective stores.
## Pebble L Collection
LRT also brought in the Pebble’s L Collection, a limited edition range with only 800 units produced worldwide. It features a polished white exterior accompanied with interchangeable genuine cowhide leather straps in Aspen White and Midnight Black. The Pebble L Collection will be retailing for S$279 and will be exclusively sold at selected EpiCentre and EpiLife stores from 26th May to 26th June 2014.

If you bought a Pebble in Singapore from the above-authorized retailers, you automatically qualified to join the [pebble.sg](http://pebble.sg/en/index.php) Club. ## Closing Thoughts
getpebble.com is selling the Pebble at US$150 which is about S$195 using an exchange rate of S$1.3 = US$1 (which is roughly the credit card exchange rate as of May 2014). Delivery to Singapore is free using USPS and it takes about 3-5 days. So by paying S$54 (S$249 – S$195) extra, you will get to enjoy all those perks of being in the pebble.sg Club as well as local warranty.
Not too sure about you guys, but I will still order from getpebble.com because the price in Singapore and its benefits doesn’t really entice me. Besides, now is a bad time to get Pebble Watch because I am sure there will be smarter watches coming out this year like the [Android Wear](http://developer.android.com/wear/index.html) and the rumored Apple’s iWatch.
