On the 27th August 2014, Dropbox [announced that](https://www.dropbox.com/overview/professionals) the [Dropbox Pro](https://www.dropbox.com/overview/professionals) plan now comes with 1TB (1,000 GB) of storage for US$9.99/month (S$13/month) or you can pay upfront for the year and that will cost you US$99/year (S$125/year).

Previously, US$9.90/month will only give you 100GB of storage, while 200GB will cost you US$19.99/month and 500GB will cost you US$49.99.

I have been a Dropbox Pro subscriber since February 2011 and I have been waiting for this change since Google [drop their price for Google Drive](https://blog.google/products-and-platforms/products/workspace/save-more-with-google-drive/) (US$9.99/month for 1TB) back in March 2014 and Microsoft decided to give all Office 365 subscribers 1TB for free back in June 2014. Thank you Dropbox!

For existing Dropbox Pro subscribers, you should already see the new 1TB storage in your Dropbox.
