GoGear Splash n Dash Bluetooth Speaker is retailing for **S$49.90** at Mustafa and selected 7-eleven stores in Singapore and is available in four colors: Blue, Pink, Red, Orange. It uses Bluetooth 4.0+EDR and is rated IPX5 which makes it suitable to be a bathroom speaker. > IPX5 is the grade at which a device continues to function when directly subjected to 12.5 L of water per minute from all directions using a 6.3 mm inside diameter nozzle at a distance of approximately 3m for at least 3 minutes. It charges via MicroUSB cable and on a full charge it can last about 8 hours worth of music playback time. In terms of sound quality, I am not impressed. At max volume, you can hear the cracking sound and the bass is relatively weak. At S$49.90, I expected it to be better because a similar product, [NudeAudio Move S](https://lesterchan.net/blog/2015/01/30/nudeaudio-move-s/), retails for only S$10 more at S$59.90 and it has much better audio quality. The only advantage of the GoGear Splash n Dash Bluetooth Speaker is the IPX5 rating which the NudeAudio Move S doesn’t have.
