The [MPow Streambot Mini](http://www.xmpow.com/mpow-streambot-mini-bluetooth-4-0-receiver-a2dp-wireless-adapter-mbr1.html) is the number one seller on [Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/Mpow-Bluetooth-Receiver-Streambot-Hands-Free/dp/B00MJMV0GU) under the Car Stereo Digital Media Receivers category.

When I bought it, it was retailing for US$13.99 (S$20), but the price has gone up by US$1 to **US$14.99 ($22)**.

The MPow Streambot Mini is reasonably priced, but unfortuntely, it doesn’t ship to Singapore directly. Hence, you have to include the freight forwarder cost as well.

Ever since I started using iPhone 7 Plus, I can no longer use the 3.5mm audio-in cable to play music through my car’s audio system.

I could have bought another [Apple Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter](https://lesterchan.net/blog/2016/10/03/apple-lightning-to-3-5mm-headphone-jack-adapter/) for the car, but I figured the best way going forward is to use Bluetooth.

I chanced upon MPow Streambot Mini when I was searching for Bluetooth music receiver on Amazon.

The MPow Streambot Mini is very small (53 x 33 x 10 mm) and lightweight (68g). It uses Bluetooth 4.1 with Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) for higher quality audio streaming over Bluetooth.

It charges via micro-USB and a single charge can last you about 8 hours of music streaming.

You can also use the controls of the MPow Streambot Mini to control your music playback.

The play/pause button on the front allows you to play or pause the music. Short pressing the + and – buttons on the right allows you to increase or decrease the volume. Long pressing it allows you to skip to the next song or return to the previous song.
