Bought two Elecom USB-C to USB-C Power Delivery Cable from [Yodobashi Multimedia Sapporo Store](http://www.yodobashi.com/ec/store/0063/).

After buying it, I realized both cables are from different series although they look the same. <del datetime="2017-07-26T08:06:48+00:00">I have no idea what are the differences.</del> According to [Benson Leung](https://plus.google.com/+LesterChan/posts/fEjtNWmRZTU) the USB3-CC5P support USB Power Delivery up to 100W (5A) while USB3-CCP supports USB Power Delivery of up to 60W (3A).

My [0.5m](http://www2.elecom.co.jp/products/USB3-CCP05NBK.html) cable is from the USB3-CCP series while my [1m](http://www2.elecom.co.jp/products/USB3-CC5P10NBK.html) cable is from the USB3-CC5P series. Both series have their cables in 0.5m and 1m.

Based on the two official links above, it seems that the USB3-CC5P series is the higher end as it is slightly more expensive.

Even the person pasting the price tag is confused as well. Despite the price tag states JP¥2,010 on the 1m cable, I only paid JP¥1,810 (before tax JP¥1,676) for it.

The 0.5m cable from USB3-CCP series retails for JP¥1,570 (before tax JP¥1,454) while the 1m from USB3-CC5P series retails for JP¥1,810 (before tax JP¥1,676).

If you spend more than JP¥5,000, it is tax-free. On top of that, if you pay by VISA credit card, you get an additional 5% discount.

After everything, I paid **JP¥1,382 (S$17)** for the 0.5m cableand **JP¥1,593 (S$20)** for the 1m cable.

Similar to the [Anker PowerLine USB-C to USB-C Cable](https://lesterchan.net/blog/2017/07/12/anker-powerline-usb-c-to-usb-c-cable/) and [Apple USB-C Charge Cable](https://lesterchan.net/blog/2015/11/17/apple-usb-c-charge-cable-2m/), these cables support [USB Power Delivery](http://www.usb.org/developers/powerdelivery/) and hence you can use it to charge your USB-C laptops.

This cable supports USB 3.1 Gen 2 and that will give you data transfer speed of up to 10Gbps, two times faster than USB 3.1 Gen 1 of the Anker PowerLine USB-C to USB-C Cable.
