[Sonos Amp](https://www.sonos.com/en/shop/amp.html) is now available in Singapore at a recommended retail price of **S$1,099**.

You can get it from [TC Acoustic Online Store](https://www.tcacoustic.asia/sg/shop/brands/sonos/sonos-amp.html) or at [Musica Boutique by Challenger](https://www.ionorchard.com/shop/MUSICA-BOUTIQUE?id=19) located in Ion Orchard.

Sonos Amp is the upgraded version of the [Connect:Amp](https://www.sonos.com/en/shop/connectamp.html). Instead of the 55 watts per channel found in the older Connect:Amp, the new Amp provides up to 125 watts.

To catch up with the digital era, the new Amp supports HDMI ARC and Optical digital inputs.

Its design looks like a square, measuring 64 x 217 x 217 mm and weighing 2.1 kg.

Two of the complaints of the older Connect:Amp is that it is not rack mountable and stackable. The new Amp fixes both of these complains.

So if you are an audiophile with passive speakers and wish to leverage on Sonos connected ecosystem which also supports AirPlay 2, the Sonos Amp is for you.
