I think there is too much electronic wastage in the packaging. They provide five power cords even though you just needed one.

I love the inclusion of the control pod rather than it being built into the right speaker. It makes things neater.

The control pod uses a DisplayPort cable to connects to your right speaker.

Since Bose Companion 20 is the higher-end model of the Bose Companion 2, the design feels more premium with the silver metallic paint on it.

The speakers are also taller and slimmer than the Bose Companion 2. It is an optical illusion, both left and right speakers are of the same height.

I am going to use it for [my new desktop](https://lesterchan.net/blog/2020/03/06/my-new-computer-amd-ryzen-7-3700x/) replacing the [Bose Companion 2 Series II Speakers](https://lesterchan.net/blog/2008/04/22/bose-companion-2-series-ii-speakers/) which I bought 12 years ago.

I am not an audiophile, so I will not comment much about the audio quality. Having said that, as a non-audiophile, the bass on the Bose Companion 20 is stronger than the Bose Companion 2.
