[ShieldMask+](https://www.shieldmaskplus.com/) is a reusable and washable mask that is made in Singapore.

It has four layers of protection, which consist of moisture repellant as the outer later followed by a double filter layer and, lastly, the antibacterial soft bamboo fabric layer.

ShieldMask+ retails for **S$18** on [Lazada](https://www.lazada.sg/products/shieldmask-made-in-singapore-face-mask-for-adults-4-layers-protection-reusable-washable-adjustable-fit-i592066172-s2182208933.html) and has gotten more than 560 ratings with a rating score of 4.8/5. According to Lazada, it is the “Top 1 in trending Masks & Filters.”

I chanced upon ShieldMask+ when I was looking for a reusable mask.

The two reusable masks provided by the government are a kind gesture, but the masks are terrible.

The first reusable mask given in [April](https://www.todayonline.com/singapore/covid-19-all-spore-households-receive-reusable-masks-april-5-govt-rethinks-advice-mask-use) makes it difficult to breath, and the fit of the mask is just bad.

The second reusable mask given in [May](https://www.todayonline.com/singapore/reusable-masks-can-filter-bacteria-be-distributed-spore-residents-end-may-chan-chun-sing) is slightly better. The fit of the mask has improved, and you can breathe better in it. However, after washing it a few times, it [began to turn brown](https://mothership.sg/2020/05/reusable-ultra-mask-exchange/).

For me, ShieldMask+ fits perfectly because there is a shape/form to the mask rather than being just a flat cloth.

This makes breathing in it more comfortable. Unlike the two reusable masks provided by the government, I don’t have difficulty in breathing after wearing it.

The adjustable straps of the mask give your ear more comfort after wearing it for an extended period.

If you are looking for a reusable mask, I highly recommend the ShieldMask+. It is not the cheapest, but the quality is there.

The recommended lifespan of the ShieldMask+ is about 30 washes.
