Of course, I need to get a case for my [AirPods Pro](https://lesterchan.net/blog/2020/07/13/apple-airpods-pro/), but I wanted it to cost less than S$10.

I discovered a shop named [Veticore](https://www.lazada.sg/shop/veticore/) on Lazada which specialized in AirPods / AirPods Pro cases.

For some reason, the [clear hard plastic case](https://www.lazada.sg/products/crystle-clear-pc-hardearphone-case-for-apple-airpods-pro-airpods-12-3-silicone-cover-headphone-air-pods-casing-pouch-protective-airpod-accessories-i469194687-s1267206207.html) (S$5.64) is more expensive than the one with a print.

I needed up choosing the [Off-white print clear hard plastic case](https://www.lazada.sg/products/kaw-aj-pikachu-off-cartoon-brand-earphone-case-for-apple-airpods-pro-airpods-1-2-3-pc-hard-cover-headphone-air-pods-casing-pouch-protective-airpod-accessories-clear-black-blue-red-i805800108-s2665508934.html) for **S$4.79**. Shipping to Singapore is additional S$2.20.

The quality of the hard plastic case is better than I expected as the plastic is thick. On the other hand, the quality of the print is just average but still acceptable since the case costs less than S$5.

Putting the AirPods Pro into the case is tricky. You need to do it slowly by rocking both ends of the AirPods Pro bit by bit.

Now, I can’t imagine if I have to take it out, it is going to be very difficult.

If you are going to remove it often, I think maybe a Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) case will be better.

Despite the thick plastic case, I have no issues wireless charging the AirPods Pro with the case on.
