In Singapore [thecoopidea](https://thecoopidea.com/) products are being distributed by [McBay](https://www.mcbay.com.sg/). McBay has been their sole distributor for more than five years.

[thecoopidea Builder Block](https://thecoopidea.com/products/builder-block-type-c-4-ports-65w-pd-charger) is the latest product from thecoopidea.

thecoopidea Builder Block is a 65W 4-Port Charger. It comes with two USB-C ports and two USB-A ports.

The maximum output of the charger is 65W. USB-C Power Delivery (PD) is supported.

The lightning indicator on the first USB-C port indicates that the USB-C port can deliver up to 65W, useful for charging your laptop.

Two colors are available, yellow and grey, and it retails for S$129.90.

What makes the Builder Block special is the 10 x 10 LEGO compatible base plate. One at the top and one at the bottom. The bottom being inversed.

Hence, if you have spare LEGO minifigures and LEGO bricks, you can use it to customize the charger to your liking.

You can use the LEGO bricks to create a stand for the Builder Block, and LEGO minifigures can be placed on top of it. Or you can use the LEGO bricks to create a mobile phone stand on top of the Builder Block. It is up to your creativity!

Instead of plastic, the base plates are made of silicon. I am not satisfied with the quality of the silicon base plates. I could not get my LEGO block to be fixed to the top silicon base plate.

The bottom silicon base plate works fine.

In case you do not like the silicon sleeves, you will be happy to know that it is removable.
