Bought the [Sonoff Micro USB Smart Adaptor](https://sonoff.tech/product/wifi-diy-smart-switches/micro-usb-smart-adaptor) from [Lazada](https://www.lazada.sg/sonoff-micro-5v-wireless-usb-smart-adaptor-compatible-with-alexa-google-home-i753198486-s2434288009.html) for **S$13.99**. Shipping is free as I got the free shipping coupon due to Lazada’s year-end sale.

Sonoff Micro USB Smart Adaptor is a no-frill device that allows you to control your USB device remotely. The device connects to your wi-fi network and can be added via the [eWeLink app](https://www.ewelink.cc/en/).

I have issues pairing this using my iPhone 12 Pro Max. However, when I use my Google Pixel 3a without any SIM card, the pairing works. Apparently, a lot of people have issues pairing the Sonoff Micro USB Smart Adaptor as indicated in the [ITEAD Forums](https://support.itead.cc/support/discussions/topics/11000030522).

I am using this to voice control my master bedroom’s [fairy light](https://www.google.com/search?q=fiary+light) which is powered by USB.
