Bought the [Xiaomi Mi Multifunctional Digital Clock](https://www.lazada.sg/products/i1182302121-s4709400735.html) during a random flash sale on Lazada where it was selling for S$16.99 with free delivery to Singapore. Its usual retail price is **S$19.80**.

The digital clock comes with a 3.7″ [e-ink](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E_Ink) display and you can connect it to the Mi Home App (available for both [iOS](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/mi-home-xiaomi-smart-home/id957323480) and [Android](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xiaomi.smarthome&hl=en_SG&gl=US)) using Bluetooth. However, your Mi Home app region must be set to China. I am using Singapore, and hence I am not able to detect the digital clock. I can’t be bothered to switch the region just because I intend to use it as a display.

Besides displaying the time, it also can detect and display the humidity (0% to 99%) and temperature (0°C to 60°C) in the room.

Measurement wise, it measures 11 x 5.5 x 1 (cm) and weighs 60g.

Setup is straightforward, the moment you pull out the battery insulation film, the time will be automatically set. My guess is that they are using [radio time signals](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radio_clock).

Included in the packaging is also a holder, wall sticker, and a soft magnet.

It is powered by two CR2032 batteries, which are included in the packaging. I hope the batteries can last me at least a year.

I am using the soft magnet, but the 3M adhesive sticker to stick the magnet to the digital clock is not strong enough.

In my first attempt, the magnet came off, and the digital clock fell to the ground. Luckily, there is no damage to it.

Other than that, I like how big the display of the time is. It is definitely visible from across the room. I wish they would include the date as well in the display.

In terms of accuracy, I would say it is acceptable.

When it records a temperature of 30°C and humidity of 71%, my [ORIA Digital Hygrometer Thermometer Display](https://lesterchan.net/blog/2021/02/26/oria-digital-hygrometer-thermometer-display/) shows 30.2°C and 68% respectively. A difference of 0.2°C and 3%.

On the other hand, my [Atmotube Pro](https://lesterchan.net/blog/2019/02/13/atmotube-pro-review/) seems to be way off with the temperature reading of 31.3°C, but the humidity reading is acceptable at 66%.
