Since Li Xiang started working from the office more frequently, she would need a portable keyboard. So I decided to pass her my older [Apple Magic Keyboard](https://lesterchan.net/blog/2016/05/11/apple-magic-keyboard/) so that I can get a new one. Also, she loves Apple’s keyboard, and I wanted a mechanical keyboard, so our objectives are aligned.

Previously, I had the [Keychron K7](https://lesterchan.net/blog/2021/09/29/keychron-k7/), but I sold it because I wanted a 75% keyboard.

So, I was deciding between the [Keychron K3 Pro](https://www.keychron.com/products/keychron-k3-pro-qmk-via-wireless-custom-mechanical-keyboard) and [NuPhy Air75](https://nuphy.com/products/air75).

I went with the NuPhy Air75 because I wanted to try another keyboard brand.

NuPhy Air75 also comes with a more vibrant design and keycap colors. It also has a feature that Keychron K3 Pro doesn’t have: the low-latency 2.4G wireless connection.

NuPhy has a 20% discount on Black Friday, so I paid US$118 (S$160) for the NuPhy Air75 and the Nuphy Folio V2.

I chose Gateron Brown as the switch as I wanted a tactile switch.

My order was confirmed on 21st November 2022 and shipped out on 22nd November 2022. I received it on 1st December 2022, 9 days later.
