Right now, I am paying S$58.58/month. Singtel 10Gbps Enhanced Plan will cost me S$74/month, and after the contract ends on 22nd July 2027, it will revert to S$139/month. Hopefully, by then, 10Gbps should come down to about S$50 for Singtel. Singtel is not the cheapest for broadband connection, but I still stick to it because it is reliable. I have used them since my old house in 2016 and have zero issues. For the past 9 years, I have not contacted Singtel support for any broadband-related issues. So I am paying extra for peace of mind and the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” mantra. Singtel officially supports bridging for the Singtel 1+1Gbps Fibre Pro Gamer Bundle, so I can bring my router instead of using the Optical Network Router (ONR) and have double Network Address Translation (NAT) within my network. Since then, Singtel has stopped allowing bridging on its ONR. Singtel 10Gbps Enhanced Plan comes with either the [Singtel Nokia XS-240X-A XGS ONR](https://www.singtel.com/personal/support/broadband/routers-ont/nokia-xs240XA-xgs-onr) or [Singtel ZTE F8648P ONR](https://www.singtel.com/personal/support/broadband/routers-ont/zte-f8648p-onr). And luckily, both can be bridged. I received the Singtel ZTE F8648P ONR. I guess Singtel still closes one eye and allows unofficial bridging to cater to the more advanced users. ## Step 1 Logging with username “support” (without the quotes). The password is the reverse of your Singtel ZTE F8648P ONR default password. So if your password is 12345678, the reverse of it is 87654321. ## Step 2 After logging in, choose “FastSetting” at the top right corner of the screen. By default, Hybrid will be checked. You will need to open Developer Tools in your respective browsers. After that, look for “BridgePort”, and you will notice the element will have a style with “display:none;” on it. You will see a section called “Bridge Port” when done correctly. LAN5 is your 10Gb port on the ONR. ## Step 3 Click “Submit & Reboot”. The warning message sounded serious, but you could ignore it. That is expected since you have bridged the LAN5 port. You should now see that both ONR and LAN5 are checked.
