If you have bought the Power Support Air Jacket from Apple Store Online or from official Apple Stores, you will realised that it is actually Air Jacket Force. Power Support Air Jacket Force is an exclusive item available only in Apple Stores.
The difference between the normal Air Jacket and Air Jacket Force is the raised bezel on the case that protrudes the screen a little (not flushed with the screen). This ensures that your screen is slightly off the surface of a table if you decide to place your iPhone 6/6 Plus screen facing down. Today I learned (TIL) that the term for that is called “lip“.
Apparently, this is a requirement for manufacturers if they want to get their case sold on Apple Stores.
Apple is also now requiring that cases protect an iPhone, iPad, or iPod’s cover glass when lying flat on a surface like a table. Cases must now provide a buffer of at least 1mm between the cover glass and a flat surface. Case makers have two choices to achieve this: either they cover the glass entirely or have part of the case protrude from the cover glass slightly to keep it from touching a flat surface.
I got mine from Hong Kong Apple Store at Festive Walk for HK$248 (S$43). Surprisingly, it is even cheaper in Singapore. Apple Online Store Singapore is selling it for only S$39 for both iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
The normal Air Jacket for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus is retailing for S$45 and the Air Jacket Set is retailing for S$59. The difference between Air Jacket and Air Jacket Set is the later includes a Power Support screen protector.
Power Support’s Air Jacket is one of the best clear case for iPhones. I have been using it since iPhone 5s. The case is fitting, well-built, thin (1.2mm thick), and light weight (30g). It comes in four colors: Clear Matt, Black, Smoke and Clear.
The only down side for clear plastic cases in general is that after long period of use, there will be lots of scratches on it.
If you are looking for a good clear case for your iPhone 6/6 Plus, do consider the Power Support Air Jacket Force!

The raised lip is seriously fugly though. The main selling point of the Air Jackets is Serious Minimalism, and the raise lip detracts from that. Not to mention that the Force is made in Korea, not Japan.
Using my original Air Jacket with a Bunker Ring recently to prevent drops. Way better than the raised lip, which probably does nothing much to help it in a drop.
And Apple’s new requirments are just silly. If that means less business for them from those who love preserving the iPhone’a beautiful lines and shape with a minimalist case, they’ve got it. No more cases from store.apple.com
Dude, the air jacket is made in Japan. Apple Stores carry the Korean ones and it is fugly.
You do realise I am talking about both the Air Jacket and the Force in my comment right? “original Air Jacket” and “Force”. I was commenting about the Force about having a raised lip. And I mentioned that my original Air Jacket(Japan) when used with a Bunker Ring is a better choice than the Force (Korean).
For the entire year on my iPhone 6 I have had used nothing but a original Power Support Air Jacket that I purchased in Japan.
And the above comment is a 10-month old one. Not sure if you are trolling but just in case.
