YZXstudio USB-C Power Meter
YZXstudio USB-C Power Meter is my first purchase on Taobao. Normally, for products on Taobao, I will just ask my wife to add to the cart. This time around, I decided to give it a try by myself based on my limited Mandarin.
YZXstudio USB-C Power Meter retails for ¥158 (S$33) and shipping to Singapore is an additional S$6 via CaiNiao.
It might be considered a sensitive product, so the direct shipping doesn’t allow me to ship via air, only by sea. Hence, it took close to a month to reached me. I placed the order on 28th October 2020, and I only received it on 23rd November 2020.
I have an existing Satechi USB-C Multimeter, but the YZXstudio USB-C Power Meter has better UI, and there are different views for the data.
By default, it displays the Ampere (A), Voltage (V), and Wattage (W), whereas, for Satechi, it only displays the Voltage, Ampere, and mAh. If you need to know the Wattage in realtime, you have to calculate it yourself.
There are five other views which you can toggle by pressing the small button below the device.
