There are two variants of the Nomad Base Station. Hub Edition and Apple Watch Edition.
The difference between the Hub Edition and the Apple Watch Edition is the former includes a 7.5W USB-A port and an 18W USB-C PD port to charge an additional two devices, while the later, only consists of an Apple Watch charger.
The HyperDrive 7.5W Wireless Charger USB-C Hub was born out of a Kickstarter project on 16th January 2018.
It was fully funded on 20th February 2018 where it raised a total of US$657,117 from 4,902 backers out of their initial goal of US$100,000.
Mophie Wireless Charging Base is one of two Apple endorsed wireless chargers that can fast charge your iPhone 8/8 Plus/X at 7.5W.
Having benchmark third-party aka non-Apple endorsed wireless chargers, I can confirm that those does not fast charge your iPhones at 7.5W.
