After seven years with my iPad Pro 10.5-inch, I upgraded to the iPad Pro 11-inch M4. My brother, a frequent flyer, bought it for me at Changi Airport's iStudio to save the 9% GST, with a guide to terminal prices.

Apple offers two official polyurethane cases for the 3rd-gen 12.9-inch iPad Pro: the Smart Keyboard Folio at S$299 and the Smart Folio at S$149. I skipped the keyboard folio for the Charcoal Grey Smart Folio.

While gadget shopping in Sapporo, I picked up the Elecom iPad Pro 10.5-inch Clear Back Cover at Yodobashi for around JP¥3,110. Spending over JP¥5,000 made it tax-free, and paying by VISA added another 5% off the final price.
The iPad Pro 10.5-inch is my fourth iPad, after the original (2010), iPad 2, and iPad Air. Nearly four years on, my Air feels sluggish, and its 16GB was always too little, prompting this upgrade.
The Apple iPad Pro 10.5-inch Smart Cover comes in leather at S$98 or polyurethane at S$68. The leather has four colours and the polyurethane seven. I preferred the cheaper polyurethane, choosing Charcoal Grey for my iPad Pro.
The Apple iPad Pro, a 12.9-inch iPad, is now available for pre-order in Singapore and 39 other countries, with delivery from 13th November 2015. It comes in silver, gold, and space grey, in 32GB and 128GB.
