Aqara Motion & Light Sensor P2 Review
The Aqara Motion & Light Sensor P2 is Aqara's second Matter device, a pricier alternative to the Motion Sensor P1 I use for toilet lighting. It retails for S$55 versus S$36 for the P1.

I bought the Aqara Motion Sensor P1 for S$26 during 11/11, down from S$36. This battery-powered sensor runs on two CR2450 cells with a claimed five-year life, and it proved impressively responsive in use.
I bought the Aeon Labs Aeotec Z-Wave MultiSensor 6 from Automate Asia for S$110, alongside the Smart Switch 6. It runs on Micro-USB power or two CR123A batteries (not included), which last about two years, packing six sensors into one.
When I wanted to make my home smarter, I engaged Automate Asia, which I'd come across in the local news. Not a sponsored post, I paid for their services. A shout-out to Mike and the team for their great help.
The WeMo Switch + Motion sells at Funan's Challenger for S$109, or S$89 for members, while the plain WeMo Switch is S$79, or S$71.10. For just S$18 more as a member, the motion sensor was worth it.
