After 18 and a half years of study, kindergarten through to three and a half years at university, I've finally finished! I went to Taiwan with Weiquan, Kelvin and Hong Jun for a seven-day, six-night graduation trip to celebrate.
I sat my final NUS exam last Thursday, 3rd December 2009, an evening paper from 5pm to 7pm, so technically I've graduated, pending results on 22nd December. Now I'm off to Taiwan, just as I was last year.
I'm back from Taiwan! After the guided tour from 15th to 21st December 2008, we spent the remaining twelve days, until 1st January, free and easy. Rather than blog everything in detail, I'll let the pictures do the talking.
It's the first day of 2009, and I've just returned from the countdown in Taoyuan, Taiwan. It was fantastic, at a crisp 10 to 12 degrees Celsius. 2009 will be a big year, as I graduate at year's end.
There were two tour groups for this Taiwan trip: Group A from 14th to 20th December 2008 and Group B from the 15th to 21st, which we joined. Day 1 began with breakfast at Changi Airport Terminal 3.
I'll be away in Taiwan for 18 days, from Monday 15th December 2008 to Thursday 1st January 2009. My flight SQ878 departs on the 15th at 12.25pm, and I return on SQ877, reaching Singapore at 6.45pm on New Year's Day.
I've been on a dog-movie streak these past two weeks, catching Beverly Hills Chihuahua last week and Bolt yesterday. Both were decent, but Bolt stands out; if I had to pick one, it'd be Bolt, funny and touching at once.
My year 3, semester 1 exams are over! Yesterday's last paper, CS4254 IS Project Management, was the hardest of the semester, and most of my friends agreed. The past-year paper was much easier, despite being set by the same lecturer.
It's been a while since I blogged about my personal life, and I haven't watched a movie in over a month; my last was The Dark Knight in KL. I've also just finished my first week of school.
