iFly Singapore
Thanks to iFly Singapore for the invite to the Christmas party last week and for the complimentary session of indoor skydiving! It was my first time trying indoor skydiving and I love it!
For the beginner lesson “The Adventure”, the whole session is about 2 hours. After signing the indemnity form at the counter, you will be ushered to the “hangar” to watch some videos on what iFly Singapore is about, what to expect for the whole session and basic indoor skydiving tips (eg: hand signals, postures).
After watching the videos which is about 15 minutes, you will proceed on to the next room where you get to meet your instructor and he will iterate the basic indoor skydiving tips again. Next, each student will then proceed in front of the class to demonstrate his/her’s posture and the instructor will correct his/her’s posture accordingly.
Once that is done, you have completed the “boring” portion of the session. You will be brought up to change into the provided attire. They also have shoes as well if you are not wearing the recommended footwear which is shoes (sports or sneakers) with laces. You need to empty all items in your pockets. There are lockers there at S$2 each.
Each one of you will get to skydive twice, each time lasting about 45 seconds.
I have ripped the complimentary DVD that was given to us and uploaded to YouTube. In the video, I am on 9:30 till 10:30 for the first round and for the second round I am from 21:05 till 21:55.
You will also get a certificate after you completed your beginner session and the next time you come, you can go straight to the skydiving portion!
