Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock is retailing for S$118 in Singapore but I got mine in Bangkok, Thailand, from iStudio at Siam Paragon for TH฿3,300 (S$131). It is S$13 more expensive than Singapore. Even after the VAT refund of ฿215 (S$8.50), it is still more expensive.
The Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock is smaller (measuring at 10.4cm in diameter) and much heavier than I expected (weighing at 154g).
It comes with a Apple Lightning port to power the dock and charge your Apple Watch. Because it uses a Lightning Port and cost S$118, it comes with a 2m Apple Lightning to USB Cable. I wish Apple excludes that cable and make it cheaper.
The dock can charge your Apple Watch in a flat position (suitable for open straps) or in a side position (suitable for closed loop straps). When used on it’s side, your Apple Watch will automatically goes into Nightstand mode, so you can also use it as your alarm clock.
