The Popp Z-Wave KFOB Remote Control which is retailing for £32.50 (S$58) on Vesternet was wrongly shipped to me.

They were supposed to ship to me the Aeon Labs Aeotec Z-Wave Key Fob Remote and not this.

I was not very happy about it as that was my first purchase with Vesternet. I contacted their support and they shipped me the correct item 2 days later and told me to keep the wrong item.

The Popp Z-Wave KFOB Remote Control was a nightmare to setup with my Fibaro Home Center Lite.

I had to refer to this site which I found on Google to manually set up the parameters because it just will not auto configure. Not sure if I am the only one with this problem because I can’t seem to find much on Google.

I have to make some minor adjustments to the parameters after lots of trial and error which is to change parameters 11 to 14 to a value of 8 instead of 4.

Till today, I am still getting a “Unconfigured devices” notification in my Fibaro Home Center’s notification panel despite it working correctly.

I would recommend getting the Aeon Labs Key Fob Remote anytime over the Popp Z-Wave KFOB Remote Control.
