I dropped my Apple Pencil (2nd Generation) with the tip landing on the floor first. The tip broke off and left a portion of it in the Apple Pencil.

I watch a couple of YouTube videos on how to remove the stuck portion, and I think this video is the best. It uses a pincer to grip on the stuck portion and slowly unscrew it out.

Apple Pencil Tips come in four in a pack and cost S$28. Four is too many for me. I might have just paid S$28/4 = S$7 if it comes in only one.

Luckily, there is a cheaper alternative on Shopee. I saw a OEM Apple Pencil (2nd Generation) Replacement Tip selling for just S$3.43. Shipping to Singapore is an additional S$1. The total cost is only S$4.43.

Although the OEM is not as good as the original one. I think the trade-off is acceptable for the price as, overall, it is still usable.

The rubber on the OEM is slightly harder, and gliding the tip over your iPad’s screen is not as smooth.
